Most people who work there are pretty rude. But then again it's not easy dealing with the public either

Need to improve their signage. Not clear what area of the main dumping site is for metal without being there before. One rude staff member.

Has all the necessary waste sections including free disposal of waste oil, green waste, cardboard and paper, a greenshed and paid services like general waste, building materials, etc. etc. Do NOT take your mattress there as it is $80 Per mattress, instead take it down the road to Soft landing mattress recycling where it will cost $25 and they will recycle the foam, wood, and metal from them.

Great reasturant. Awesome chauffeur service. We didn't even need to get out of the car.The staff were amazingly helpful with valuing every item from our trailer before advising whether we should tip it or sell it on eBay.. They even topped up a low tire... wow.But seriously... it's a tip... the local council rubbish dump. Simple as that. What were you actually expecting.Of course you have to pay for dumping things like mattresses and radioactive waste from my kids rooms...So yea.... 5 stars. Simple.

Arrived without a reservation and we didn't need to wait long. Straight in, no fuss.Had an ambiance of Au de Tip and just the perfect atmosphere for dumping rubbish.Friendly and helpful staff and ample signage.5 star. Would dump rubbish there again.

MLRMC (the Mugga Lane tip) makes excellent use of our large scale garden waste. It's mulched on the spot and it goes from being a waste that we don't want to a resource that is wonderful for our gardens.Tomorrow, we take all our scrap metal and scrap timber to the MLRMC for recycling.There is also a tipping tank for waste oils. It's brilliant that it's all recycled.

Arrogant staff who try and make going to the tip and paying with a company Visa card impossible!! If there was competition for waste management in Canberra this tip would be out of business fast!

Great place for a wide range of odds and sods. Good service, cheap prices. One persons rubbish is another persons treasure!

I rang the 132281 number shown on the website and was put through to various people, and finally found someone to speak to, who left me waiting on the line for very long periods (by her own admission) but no one had any idea of how I could dispose of half-full cans of paint.It does seem that the ACT waste management people have no actual plan for the responsible disposal of unused paint, so it is hypocritical of them to complain the we are just putting it in landfill. I just painted one room! Imagine how much paint professional pianters use!I also asked at Bunnings where I bought the paint but they had no idea either.I persevered with the 132281 number and after long waits on the phone was given this number (which is not on their site) 62707700 which turned out to be for the Sydney and Southern Highlands region, and they put me on a long hold too.I now think they pay lip service to responsible paint disposal but in fact there is no facility to do so.

Love LOVE love, recycle and reuse. I love how you can drop off your cardboard and pop into the greenshed and find wonderful amd unique things for the house. You can upcycle it or use it as is, some things are as new. And i love that they give away free clothes, and are always helping out the community. Theyr the only place ill donate items to!
