Wow, what a change, the newly renovated Vic is a dramatically different to what it used to be. It’s been remodelled and renovated throughout, theres a good selection of meals & good size portions. If you’re going with kids there’s a spot out the back for families especially on Sundays where they have activities. The staff were super helpful staff.

My poterhouse was probably up there with one of the best steaks I’ve ever had and the salad was so delicious! Absolutely loved the idea of the kids area. Fantasy place

It's nicely renovated, clean with nice fittings and pleasant enough staff. I've only been twice and the food is okay but a little highly priced for the quality. We both had the steak sandwich which has thin minute steak, mine was okay but my partner's was tough enough to spit out and not bother eating. I told the waiter to let the chef know and didn't hear about it again.I don't understand why they want people to use apps to order when the place is dead, the whole place must be running at a loss.

Went to a party there for a friend's baby, but the off the tap drinks tasted weird, especially the solo/sprite tasted like it was off... like the smell of something mouldy....not sure if others tasted it or not, but it was definitely not right...the food was okay. Liked that the venue was spacious for kids to run around.

I have eaten here many many times since it opened and it is always amazing food, drinks and staff. Steak night is fantastic and is always good quality food served wonderfully everytime. The staff are so attentive and always there to help. There is a great kids space with activities and video games. Patrick and Kevin are always very attentive to our needs.

The only reason I've given this any stars at all is because there is a play room for children. The woman working here is awful, made us feel so unwelcome when we arrived and sighed at us when we didn't have a booking, moving us to a different table (fast forward an hour later when we were leaving and only 2 other tables had shown up in a restaurant that has over 50 tables...), she had an attitude the entire time. I ordered the nachos that were tiny, burnt on top and had no salsa so were as dry as could be for $18. The kid's meal was OK, but 2 slices of pizza for 15 bucks is next level. Won't be back!

Went today for my husbands birthday, Was disappointed with my meal Lamb roastMeat was quite tough. Gravy had no flavour. I had heard great things about this place but it wasn’t what I had been told. Won’t be rushing back

The worst! Burnt Parma, super dried chips, worse chicken nuggets and an attitude we’ll make sure never to experience again.We made a booking for 8 people for yesterday afternoon, and we were a bit late as our friends were traveling with 2 little kids from the other side of town.The manager gave us the worst attitude even though at 4pm the place was empty.. and the tables did not fill up during the time we were there.We thought about leaving when they reacted like that, but the thought of putting 4 kids back in the car and driving to another place was too much of a headache and decided to order.We went there before the change of owners and the food was good, the people were friendly, this time was terrible or maybe she pushing us with burnt food for being 15min late.Even the waiter had an attitude, though he seemed relieved when we didn’t complain of being given a table that had broken glass on the seats. I guess it’s nice when people are understanding.. I wish we had experienced the same from them.Will make sure not to return, don’t understand why all the attitude when the place is pretty much empty.There was one nice gentleman that came to bring the kids food, that was the only nice interaction.

The Victoria Hotel Yarraville
This was our first time back since it has changed owners and we were very impressed! Good changes made to the kids area to make it more entertaining, nice steak on $20 steak night and the kids sliders were very popular. Lovely staff who were very attentive and the food came quickly. We will be back!
