Melbourne visitors blown away... a beautiful experience end to end. Passionate and friendly young wait staff, magnificent building and beachy interior... and an inventive and well executed menu...we felt very welcome and left feeling well fed and satisfied... nice posy in the window too. The exact reason for dinning out.

When we think about celebrations, Barrenjoey House, the restaurant, is always our first option and it never disappoints. From the starter to the dessert the quality and tastes of everything was outstanding, I can’t pick a favourite because everything is my favourite, but King Prawn Risotto might have been the best meal I have ever been served. Service was delightful and very professional. 10/10. We will definitely be coming back again on our next special occasion.

Such an Awesome boutique hotel.There’s nothing in Palm Beach that even gets close to this place!Staff are the best, it’s a totally different level folks !!!Complimentary drive includes, luxury E 500 Mercedes, with a sip of French Champagne on the way, it’s absolutely gold!!!

I had an overnight me-time mini-getaway at Barrenjoey House. I ate a tour of small plates for dinner - crab toast, oysters and calamari (all delicious!) with a French Kiss cocktail - and repaired upstairs for a comfy night’s sleep after a rewatch of Fawlty Towers. It was a much needed circuit breaker :)

My partner was recommended this place by our air BnB host for my birthday weekend getaway. Arrived on time, was shown to our reserved table & told someone will come & take our order. 35~40 mins later no one came despite us desperately trying to make eye contact with every waiter passing by, and even a polite wave got us no where! They were too busy with the bigger tables. We ended up walking out & getting take away elsewhere. We read reviews later which have said similar things. This was definitely the low light of our weekend in Sydney. We've never been made to feel so second class in a restuarant! I'd give it -1 stars if I could.

Took my 2 year old daughter here today for some chips and a juice and the gent serving us, Alex, was outstanding. Went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we need. I can’t say I’ve had that sort of personalised service anywhere else. It was fantastic all round.

Extremely poor service at restaurant today . Waited 30 min to order dessert and left as no one was bothered to take the order . Poor experience on our anniversary dinner. Never going back . The 11 dollar prawn toast tasty eggy with no flavour . When I told the waitress about the wait for dessert she completely ignored and shoved the payment at me to tap . No wonder the ratings are dropping .

What a stunning place to stay. Loved it.We stayed here a couple of nights for my daughter's wedding. Beautiful backdrop for photos. Staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurant below was excellent.All in all I will be going back

Amazing view, excellent food and great service. We loved everything vegetarian we ate here. Enjoyed our time there, will visit again
