Mildura Waves Aquatic and Leisure Centre

Visited Mildura Wave Pool (Not Wave Pool) with my 2 kids for some time out. Granted it was during July. Only to find out the Wave pool doesn't operate during the week only weekends. Pool temp was still very cold. Might visit again but will make sure it's a weekend and summer time.

Lovely place, very clean and pool, adequate parking spots, very helpful staff, you can get swimming lessons for all ages.There is a cafe outside too for post swim hunger pangs!

The wave pool is nice and warm but they only run the waves at school holidays and small waves at the end of kids lessons. We felt duped.

Such a great place to relax, without the kids - because they are off playing in all the other pools a day you've in the spa!!! Value great, clean a d also very friendly staff who can give you any assistance.

Took my baby with my sister and her toddler. Both of use thought the baby pool was revolting! The bottom of the pool looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for a long time. Wasn’t a very nice experience and no canteen was open or the cafe

I have had a fantastic experience at this gym. It was recommended to me by a long term resident of Mildura and member of the gym, and I have found it very clean, and has all the things I am looking for from a gym. Staff have gone above and beyond to be friendly and welcoming. For example, I called early recently to book in a yoga class. I was told the class was full which was fair enough as I was being spontaneous and had only called about an hour before class was due to start. About ten mins later they called me back to say a few spots had become available. I was running a little late due to the timing of it all but despite this they welcomed me warmly and had a spot ready for me in the yoga room. Brad, the yoga teacher, was so friendly and down to earth and helpful - it was a great yoga class that left me feeling refreshed and happy. I’ve had yoga teachers who have seemed more intent on getting their own yoga in during the class but Brad would demonstrate the pose then get around the room as quickly as he could helping everyone with theirs. Then he made a cup of tea for everyone afterwards. Pam in the weights room was so lovely and explained all the machines and how everything worked. And ladies at the front desk were great too. Also this gym has a sauna as part of the membership and compared to other gyms in the area, the price is very fair. Something else I like about it is there are all kinds of people here of all ages, and it doesn’t have a pretentious atmosphere in the slightest.

The kids love this place. They regularly put the waves on. Fun! It's quite hot water, though. The sauna is mind blowing, I didn't know I needed a sauna until I went in. Spa is ok. Staff are nice, lifeguards are attentive.. pool poos are fished out quickly (I'm not sure if this is a good or bad thing) but we didn't get sick. Hooray! Will visit again.

I use Mildura Waves for the gym facilities, for me it is about the location. I also try and get to Yoga on a Sunday morning with Brad. Brad is an excellent Yoga instructor and I highly recommend his Yoga classes.

We really love coming here. Handy to the information centre and library cafe etc. The toilet shower block is great and the lifeguards are always a delight. The spa area is cool and those bubbles...Always love the waves when they roll in and the small kiddies are and lane pool is a gem.

False advertising. Waves are only turned on school holidays and specific childrens classes. Too bad for all other paying customers. Very disappointing.
