Jeanette Briggs Dance Academy

My daughter 4 years old, has gained such a great experience from attending Jeannette Briggs Dance Academy. She has gained confidence, social skills and independence. Her co-ordination has improved and dance class has given her so much pleasure. She beams when she knows its dance class. The concert she performed in gave her another level of confidence and pride. I find the class very age appropriate and I have as much fun watching them as they do dancing. Jeannette is kind, fun and patient with her students. They have a great time above all.

We have two daughters learning contemporary dance on Wednesdays at JBDA. Both girls absolutely love their teacher and the routines they are learning. Attending these classes has given the girls the opportunity to meet other girls with similiar interests. Class fees are very reasonable and many varieties of dance lessons are offered. My daughter has been going to Jeanette Briggs Dance Academy for the past 9 years. It is a very friendly and happy environment for the children to learn dancing skills, co-ordination aswell as gaining confidence to perform on stage which helps with alot of every day life situations. I would highly recommend this dance studio to anyone.

My daughters started dancing at Jeanette Briggs Dance Academy at the beginning of the year. It has been such a welcoming and supportive environment that focuses on children’s confidence and self-esteem. My daughters are both so happy to come to dancing each week! There are mid-year and end of year concerts which are so much fun! Big thanks to Miss Jeanette and her wonderful helpers with the tiny tots :)

My daughter is always looking forward to going to her dancing class with Miss Jeannette, and afterwards, she always tells us how she is enjoying it and can't wait to go again!As a mum, to hear this is a big thing that means she is having fun and feel safe in her dancing environment.JDBA also give opportunities for the dancers, from toddlers to adults, to showcase their talents through the mid-year concert ( and I hope the end-of-year show too ), and it was BRILLIANT!!!I was a professional dancer and educator. I can see and feel that JDBA is a beautiful place for children to explore their talents, and JDBA will support them all the way!!!! I danced at JBDA and it was great! Jeanette is a great teacher who prepared me to own my own dance company! Without her teachings and love and care for her students I wouldn’t be where I am today!She cares about every single one of her students and teach’s students suited to their needs! I have been a student at JBDA for many years and have enjoyed every moment spent in the studio. Miss Jeanette has created an environment which is safe, encouraging, and accepting where students can feel comfortable learning new styles of dance and growing from mistakes. JBDA has given me the opportunity to grow as a dancer and gain many skills which have helped me in other aspects of my life such as communication skills and working in groups. I am very grateful that I have gotten to dance at JBDA, learn tap, jazz, and ballet from Miss Jeanette, and make many friends through the studio over the years.

My three year old (now four) started at Jeanette Briggs earlier this year in the tiny tots class and just loves attending each week. Whilst it's mostly about fun at this age, she is really starting to improve her basick dance skills. It's a very friendly and unpretentious environment, where parents can be as hands on or off as they wish or (per thier own childs needs). Highly recommend. Kate

My 3 year old daugther started with Jeanette at the beginning of this year. She was a very shy girl and did not talk. Just after a few months dancing with Jeanette her confidence grew. She is not shy to meet new people or to go somewhere new and she has started to talk. I saw her confidence grow when she did the mid year concert and I was so surprised she danced in front of an audience. Thank you Jeanette for giving my daugther her voice and confidence.
