Talk about a company that doesn’t understand customer service! It appears that none of the staff understands customer service, there is an older woman working the register at the rear of the store who is rudest, most confrontational human being on the planet and has no place out in public with other humans, let alone in a role providing customer service. There are indecipherable rules that change each visit (you can’t buy 2 of those and pick up a prescription in a single transaction??) and the store looks like a market in the developing world. They have signs up at the counter, stating that abuse won’t be tolerated, but they’re facing the wrong way. The staff clearly can’t see them. Whoever manages this store should be ashamed, it’s an embarrassment.

The elderly lady caucasian with cyan eyeshadow treated me unfairly at the register on Riversdale Road.It makes me feeling being an asian and buying baby formula is a crime.

Today I called up the pharmacist to use their delivery service for a medicine, a service that I’ve used for many years now. Ive asked for a single use female-specific medication type to be delivered as I’m sick and cannot come to the pharmacy. The pharmacist (he) dismissed me and told me to come in store despite this. Very harsh and unprofessional, given there is a requirement for pharmacists to refer their clients onto other services/pharmacies if they’re unable to help. I fear this decision of theirs stems from personal belief reasons and I believe puts the young woman of our community at risk. I will never support this pharmacy again (after being a client of 6 years). I have spoken with their partner pharmacy and my medicine is being delivered by a more ethical minded pharmacist that understands their obligations and promise to their community.

I always go to this place. Today I visited there with my parents. There was an Indian security guy and he kept following us everywhere (we are brown too ). There were many other people in the shop, but every time we move to an isle he comes around and keep looking at us secretly. I informed about him to the counter and I also confronted him too. He made us so uncomfortable we ended up only buying one item and just left the store. Unfortunately I couldn't take his photo, but I will be definitely going back again just to take his photo.

Many of the negative reviews do not give you the full stories. The “annoying questions” the staff always ask when you try to get a prescription are a LEGAL requirement. The people who couldn’t get a refund are trying to return products after 30 days, have been used, or are legally not allowed to be returned due to legal reasons if a change of mind (e.g. vitamins - because they cannot re-sell them!). People complain about issues with getting documents certified- the prescriptions have to go first. The people wanting to buy more than 4 tins of baby formula to cheat the system but accuse staff of being racist - they’re literally just trying to follow the rules. Cut these guys some slack. This is such a busy store, things do take time when lots of people also require service. The staff are amazing, particularly the lovely blonde lady with the fun eyeshadow and the sweet little Asian lady who both go above and beyond. A few negative reviews should not overshadow the amazing work these hrs working people have to do day in and day out. 10/10 recommend this store.

So surprised that I didn’t see the bad rating before, the sales staff are friendly, but the pharmacists have upsold me twice on things that was prescribed or needed for my diabetic testing, and so now I have things at home that I haven’t needed or used, but didn’t know any better. One pharmacist actually lied to me and said that if I bought a new blood glucose testing pen, the box came with lots of lancets even though I showed him my one. The box was in another language, and I didn’t think he would mislead me, but I translated once I arrived home and found there were only 6 lancets.

Absolutely horrible service the staff were so mean to me and my family. When we were checking out the staff gave us a note that was not useable anymore and they thought we wouldn’t notice but a lady pointed it out. They were rasist and mean

Most of the staff are disinterested in helping with finding products, and when asking the whitecoat “pharmacists” or more like medical student trainees the advice they give is no better than what any average layperson might tell you. They also appear rather disorganised when finding prescriptions. I waited 50min only to be told that the medicine I required was unavailable due to supply shortages. Go there to see what can help your ailments but come out no better off otherwise. I wouldn’t bother asking staff for any advice in that regard.
