Eastern Park
This has become a place to stealth camp overnight, if you're waiting on the ferry to Tasmania. There are a few local dealers who use the side trails to meet clients, which adds an element of surprise to your hike. Worth a visit.

Magnificent grassed Park lands, hills etc to enjoy great dog walks (off lead inside off tracks) go for kilometres.Great fenced children's playground.Large clean public toilets in several signposted locations.A key feature are the open, roofed eating facilities with cleaned BBQ. Or picnic in any area in the several hundred aceas of grassed parkland.Many car parks dotted around easy to get to eating facilities.

Place it's self was beautiful and scenery was nice. Too bad the event there (AFD) was a total horror show. But that's not the parks fault. Thank you for having us all

This is an absolutely stunning public space where you can enjoy bay views, huge trees, and the (free!) botanic gardens. There is a wonderful, fenced play space for young ones that is tucked away. My favourite part of this park is not how welcoming it is all year round, it’s Geelong’s beautiful fruit bat colony. Take the road towards the golf course and look up. A must see for international tourists and those new to Geelong. Fly, my pretties!

Great park.plenty of open space for family or group picnics with lovely bay views.lots of trees.Free bbq's and shelter.Close to botanical gardens which is well worth a stroll.

Very entertaining day. Great exhibitors with a deep knowledge of their subject matter, immaculate cars, well provisioned site. Really good for families

Big park with plenty of space. Ovals and open spaces were struggling a bit at the end of summer, Toilet facilities were basic, but clean.
