I had my haircut here and had a bad experience.The woman who was cutting my hair was very rude about the products I used for my hair, she didn’t bother to comb through it properly, she didn’t ask where my parting was and started cutting it half way through when my parting was in the compete wrong place.Instead of combing my hair to cut it she wet my hair. She was then going to leave it wet until I asked if she could dry it, and then she only half dried it.Overall I was completely dissatisfied with the service and thought this woman was completely unprofessional.It was also extremely overpriced for the services I received.I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Exceptional colouring and styling from Lili - as always. Extremely professional and very friendly salon - I would never go anywhere else! I am always thrilled and satisfied with my experience at Salon Express Mt Hawthorn. It is always a pleasant experience. Had a great hair cut and couldn't be happier. It was exactly what I asked for. Friendly staff, professional service and great atmosphere in the salon. Lisa at the front desk, was extremely friendly. Price is right!

Aside from reasonable price and great staff. Always get a good hair colour . When I first came to know this place my hair colour was so bad and purple and they in time fixed my hair to what it is now . And I would never go to another Salon . I love this place !! Highly recommend!!!!

I have been to so many stylists that I was a little leery about trying someone new. However, upon a referral, I went to here, thanks to Jem and was NOT disappointed. To have someone actually listen to what I wanted in a cut and color was refreshing! The girls were very honest my cut and color choices and I am now one very happy client and have been for a few years! Thank you!!Sorry it’s taken so long to add a review.

so AVOID THIS PLACE - unless YOU WANT ALL YOUR HAIR CHOPPED OFF! I had xxlong hair, asked for her to trim and cut off any dead ends. *this girl should never had scissors in her hands. Prior she scrubbed my head so hard and tried to massage my hair, my fine, virgin, natural hair, WITH NO CONDITIONER. My pony tail is so uneven AND The person who employed her or trusted her with anyone’s hair? Unethical. Stay. Away. **update -after speaking with the manager, she claims everyone is “qualified” and completely unapologetic.
