Ordered from these people via menu log. They lost my order and when I telephoned the gentleman cut my call off and claimed the line dropped out. Twice. He then took his phone off the hook. This made me upset so I drove to the restaurant and made enquiries. They gave the food to a man out the front who ‘looked legit’. Brilliant way to waste a hundred dollars on a Friday night.

Worst ever service. We went there and they make us wait for more than hours to serve. And the food was not good. The way they serve with their bare hand on the top of utensils was unhelpful and unhealthy.

Small eatery at the corner of Gears Avenue and Lyons Road, has two facades facing the outside. The friendly staffs are young and attentive. The dishes are fairly priced and tasty. My friend and I had 1 serving of the veg samosa (2 pieces), the chicken tandoori, the prawn Malabar with okra, the goat curry, with sides of basmati rice, Kashmiri Pulao, 2 servings of raisin and cinnamon naan. Needless to say we didn't finish it all, despite the food being delicious. The dinning atmosphere is a relaxed one. On the Saturday evening that we were there, we saw young couples; old regular couples; and one family with their toddlers dinning out. And of course there were the usual takeaway customers throughout. Would be back here for takeaways next time.

Very nice experience. The food was good, hot and arrived in no time. The staff were great, humble and down to earth. We paid the bill and walked away only to realize that they forgot to charge for one of the dishes. We returned to pay for the dish and the staff said That's alright

This is my go-to Indian restaurant in the inner west! Plenty of authentic and tasty dishes. Servings are generous and the smiling staff are happy to package up and send you home with leftovers! Naan is yum. Very reasonably priced. Grog shop across the road handy.

MISLEADING MENU & THE MANAGER/OWNER NEEDS A LESSON IN CUSTOMER SERVICEWe’ve ordered takeaway from this restaurant in the past, but over the phone using a printed menu.Tonight, I ordered online. I scrolled to the “chicken” section to order Butter Chicken for my husband. Never in all the decades of ordering Indian have I seen someone call the “Butter Sauce,” “Butter Chicken (sauce only).” I admit, I didn’t read the heading properly, but then, why would anyone list just the sauce under the chicken section when there is no chicken(?) Misleading advertising to say the least.Also, their “cucumber yoghurt” is made with carrots, not cucumber, as per the menu. And it is so sweet it should be listed under deserts.We always order cheese & garlic naan. In the past, those ingredients were kneaded into the dough. This time, garlic was sprinkled on top and there was no cheese to be found which made the bread atypically dry.A discount would have made sense on the reordered Butter Chicken since the issue was not just mine. Of course, we were asked to pay full price for the meal.Needless to say, we will never again order from this restaurant. After all, there is a much better-priced Indian restaurant five doors down.

Been going here for 20 years. It changed hands in the last year or so. Got food tonight and was not impressed. It was ok but would not go out of my way to go there again. Onion Bhajia were very greasy and the oil used has an awful smell. The Lamb dish I had was ok but again not half as good as it used to be. Very sad.

Very friendly atmosphere with great flavored dishes as well.Would recommend the platter, for starters. Good size king prawns.Definitely would recommend.
