Sydney Horse Riding Centre

I went for a trail at the Sydney Horse Riding Centre last weekend and very much enjoyed the experience. I am a confident rider but haven't ridden regularly for some years, and as such the instruction the guides provided during the hour was welcome. I got to trot and canter, and never felt like I was just a number. It was great weekend activity to do with my daughter, and I'd go again.

Beautiful location, good horse people, my girlfriend and i had a good 1st lesson bareback , Dylan quickly spotted our level (rusty experienced ) and adapted the lesson and even shifted horses, it was nice to get back on track.

Really great people that match horses to your ability.Chris, Dan, Margaret and Liz have been so helpful in getting my skills back to be competant enough to ride solo again after 30 years.

I love this place! Brilliant horses and staff and is the closest place to the Sydney CBD where you can really ride and spread your wings (or hooves). 100 acres of gorgeous Aussie countryside. Well trained horses and fantastic staff who go out of their way to make sure your time there is excellent.It's only 45 min from the CBD and an easy drive.

I have recently begun taking lessons at the centre and have found the instructors, horses and service superior to anywhere else I have been previously. I have been riding for some years and have a good grasp of the fundamentals of riding, however I am now interested in improving my technique and rising to much higher levels of skill, especially in dressage.My instructors are very proficient horsemen skilled just not at riding but teaching (which is not a given) and capably pinpoint which areas I need to focus on to excel, then tailor exercises accordingly. I have never felt I am doing a cookie-cutter lesson on a bored, unresponsive horse and I have noticed improvement in my ability already.I suggest anyone like myself interested in improving their riding on educated horses with professional teachers give the centre a visit - and the trails are a great fun as well!

I took my three kids aged 5, 7 and 13 for a trail ride at Sydney Horse Riding Centre. We were very impressed by the professional and friendly staff and we all had a great ride. The kids received tuition along the ride and they were all rise trotting by the time we got back. Considering they were all fist time riders, they all went very well. We will be back for private lessons and maybe even a pony party :)

Great people, great horses, talented teachers, awesome experience, definitely doing my regular lessons there from now on. Also such relaxing rides to wind down on.
