Spectacular views of the ranges and surrounding countryside. Lovely area to stop. Well designed lookout area. Would be perfect for a picnic or late afternoon nibblies with a nice glass of red!

Farran's lookout
The lookout provides a spectacular view across the Murray River as it snakes its way through beautiful farming land between Tintaldra and Towong near Corryong with the backdrop of the Snowy Mountains. There is a picnic table to sit and soak in the views, but no toilet facilities. Children will need close supervision as it's not far off the road.

Farran's Lookout is located between Tintaldra & Towong, Victoria.These photos were taken early October 2017, hence the Canola crops in the foreground. Absolutely picturesque views of the Snowy Mountain Range, with the Murray River at the base of the mountains. Definitely worth a stop and look see. There are no public toilets, although you can picnic, and rest under shade.

Distant views of the Snowy Mountains. Easy access to Murray River Road coming from Tintaldra. Several information boards and a shaded area and seating.
