Hiring Linda was a game changer!I had been struggling with learning how to swim for years, but with Linda, it took me a few lessons to move from working on improving the basics including my breathing and strokes in the shallow pool to finishing my first ever Shelly to Manly swim! That was my first ever swim in open water!I especially found Linda's teaching approach effective because she mixes the rich knowledge with practical methods and designed a program that suits my personal needs and goals. Linda has really helped open up a whole new world to me since moving to the Northern Beaches. I'm just so grateful I found her. Thinking now about last Saturday morning remains a dream! I have to pinch myself to remember the most perfect morning ever- kind waves, perfect sunrise, and the most incredible goddess of the sea right there with expert tips. I don't know how she does it so flawlessly every time, but she has this incredible way to be very useful, practical, calm, and sometimes a little philosophical all at the same time. It kind of leaves you with this little mindful pocket of inner confidence. Very rare. Very precious.

12/10 if that's possible!!Before I met Linda, I had a lot of anxiety and nervousness in the water - pools, or in sea - especially when I could not touch the ground. Linda helped make me comfortable in the water straight away - and helped me improve every lesson.I couldnt swim and had tried a few times at the big gyms but hadnt found it that great, but then I met Linda :)Each lesson, Linda was patient and encouraging and could give me - small practical advice during the lesson to help me get more and more confident - and helped me achieve an ocean swim, which I never thought was possible.Linda has an underwater camera, and can take photos and videos to help with tips and advice and record some of your first sessions, which is a huge bonus and plus as well.I totally recommend, and feel very grateful and lucky to have Linda as a swimming coach!

Linda from Goodswim is an inspiring and highly skilled teacher. At the ripe old age of 70 and barely able to swim I set a goal to learn to ocean swim and to swim overarm for the first time in my life. From the terrifying early days when I would barely get in the water I am now swimming most days in varied conditions between Manly and Shelly Beach, confident and enjoying every moment. I would never have imagined this to be possible and have only achieved this thanks to Linda’s competence, patience and encouragement. My grand daughter now also has lessons with Goodswim and I highly recommend Linda as a teacher for all ages and all abilities.
