Aussemble

You expect a business that IKEA recommends to assemble kitchens to be professional and to know their stuff. We organized to have an Aussemble contractor to come to our home because we wanted to finalize design before purchasing the kitchen.We noticed our revised Apple Mac updates were not updating on the IKEA online kitchen planner. I contacted Clare at Aussemble and explained I would add attachments from the Mac so they could forward them to the kitchen assembler.What happened on the day to have our assembler inspection was a joke. The assembler came in and began to review our plan he downloaded from IKEA. He had the wrong plan, the information provided wasn't given to the assembler because Clare stated, she doesn't go into the Sales email. Mind you I had been on the phone with her and she gave us the email to direct the edited plan attachments.On the day the guy was tearing apart our design and then we realized he had an out of date kitchen plan.He then said he could only do a quote on the design he had and we couldn't sign off on the contract until we redid another design. What's the use of being quoted on a kitchen plan that isn't the one we're going to have? Dumb.I then contacted Aussemble wanting to speak to the management section because I couldn't believe what I had just witnessed. To be told someone would contact me. They didn't. I phoned again asking to speak to management and had a chat with Clare and was completely unimpressed by her explanation as to why she didn't send the attachments.I spoke to the manager explaining why I was upset and was told she would get back to us after she spoke to the assembler. Guess what she didn't. We had to buy our kitchen this weekend and the lack of consideration is a turnoff. I have told my partner to forfeit the $190 we spent to have the inspection and to hire another business that knows what real customer service is. Warning. Take things in hand yourself if you are going to go with this business. They are as vague as they come.
