Australia Post - Annandale Post Shop

I usually pick up my packages from here and receive really good service. I've just read some terrible reviews about an older lady, glasses and Asian appearance who I'm almost certain was the same lady who served me today.She was extremely rude and had absolutely NO customer service skills. Firstly, I got to the counter and told her that I had 2 packages to send and 2 to pick up. She then responded in a very annoyed and sarcastic manner 'well which do you want to do??' My two young kids were with me, it's the only time I get to run errands like this. She then started to shout at my kids in front of all the customers in the store to stop touching the toys (they were literally looking at them). I had to pick up my youngest while juggling signing label and picking up the packages (all with 0 assistance from her.) I was so embarrassed leaving the post office as she had drawn so much attention to me and my kids. She is the rudest person I have encountered at this post shop and she definitely needs to find a new job (that does NOT involve customer service). Also to note, she was extremely lovely to the 2 customers in front of me who were not Asian. I have also read that other customers complain that she was racist towards them. Absolutely terrible.

I have to use this Post Office much to my dismay, whilst the Post Shop is Clean and tidy, I give one star for that. I give another star for the competent staff who serve behind the counter. However, I end up being served by this older woman, who every time pretends not to know how to load an Australia Post Mastercard. Each time I get served by her we have this conversation you know how to do it

Super disgruntled staff always keen to palm you off to the AusPost helpline rather than make an attempt to be helpful. Feels like it would be similar to getting mail in the Soviet Union. It's 20mins walk to this post office and I always hate going there then feel super angry coming back. I go to my closer AusPost at Missiden Road unless I have to pick up a parcel from Annandale. 2 of the ladies working today have been super rude before but luckily I got the slightly nicer one.

Recently took 'Mr Jingles' (my pooch) for a walk & decided to stop in our local Post Office to buy a book of stamps because I still have pen-friends.Whilst inside I was browsing (& i must add when I was not looking) my little Mr Jingles decided it was about time to do his business.I apologized profusely to the Madame seated behind the counter, she said it wasn't a problem It Happens From Time To Time"

THE WORST.Closes randomly at difference times.This week they closed from 9am-2pm.Don’t open on Saturdays.Lines out the door daily.Only ever 1-2 staff on.Joke of a place.Sometimes you just can’t avoid it though.

Small post office in the corner, but there isn't much parking around - just street and not much to do around. Had to go out of my way to retrieve my parcel (unlike Broadway post office, where you can shop for groceries as well). Service was also a bit slow, but staff was friendly!

Absolutely shocking customer service from an Asian in appearance woman working in the Annandale store. Was extremely rude, aggressive, smirking and laughing while another male team member had no issue helping me saying my enquiry was actually very simple. Do not appreciate being treated this way and have lodged a formal complaint with Australia post as clearly I'm not the only one having issues at this store.

Really awful and rude staff. I waited 20 minutes patiently in line to pick up my parcel, and stepped towards the counter when the person in front of me left (as is the norm in Australian society).The man behind the counter then humiliated me in front of about 40 people by loudly claiming that he couldn't serve me because I stepped towards the counter without his permission" and he asked the woman BEHIND me to step forward.I have never experienced such incredible rudeness. I stood up for myself (along with another customer)

Every single time there is an issue to collect a parcel. Customer service has to be the worst I have experienced in Sydney and don’t even get me started on the lack of empathy.

I went into pick up a parcel and they said it wasn’t there, actually it had been sitting there for 1 week and it wasn’t logged into the computer and the retail person didn’t bother checking. I now got a notification the parcel has been returned to sender in MELBOURNE! The parcel was meant to be a gift and it’s not clear how to retrieve it. I don’t know if I feel more disappointed at losing the gift, or overwhelmed by the degree of uselessness of Aus Post. Probably the latter. You guys are an absolute joke.
