Actually went to the playground and scooter track with my grandchildren. It is very popular and was a big hit with the kids and also has toilet facilities

Clean, reasonable amount of grass vs dust/dirt. Lots of seating with few being in the shade, smaller off leash area beside main area. Choose the time as peak hour is crazy... minimum 20 dogs, plenty of parking either side of park's and D.I.Y dog wash stations (2 of) behind cafe. $10 first ten minutes then add more money before cycle ends (20 seconds) notes & coins only.

Shaftesbury Street Big Dog Park
I take my dog here a few times a week and she absolutely loves it!! The park has lights which is great as many times I come here near sunset. My dog is quite small for a big dog park but she has had no issues with any dogs, nor have I seen anything go on. The owners generally keep their eyes on their pups and will break things out if pups get too intense.Always many dogs around in the afternoon so my dog always has dogs to play with!

Shaftesbury Street Big Dog Park
This dog park was upgraded not long ago with new fencing, seats and grass. Although the grass went dormant and looked dead it's come back with the summer rains. Their is adequate parking available and a toilet near by. The council is great at restocking the bags and emptying the bins. Can totally recommend this dog park as for the most part the furry friends behave themselves and the owners are friendly and willing to have a chin wag.

Very big and lots of space for dogs to play.There is a separate area for puppies and small dogs, which is always nice. Great for families with kids too as they can head over to the playground to play on the equipment, and there are toilets too.Great park for an afternoon play, lots of parking and big trees.

Really lovely park with great facilities and nice atmosphere. Separate fenced areas for big and small dogs. Unfortunately spoilt on occasion by bullyboy" owners (who of course own large aggressive dogs) and feel the urge to let them loose in the small dog park full of terrified and nervous puppies and wee dogs."

Shaftesbury Street Big Dog Park
Shaftesbury park has a variety of amenities including a smooth cement cycle track that is a suitable grade for rollerskating. The track extends beyond the park to adjoining parks. Additionally there is a large fenced off leash dog run, a playground suitable for toddlers and young children. There's some seating, bins, and shaded space. The park features expansive verdant lawns that extend through to the other parkland spaces.Parking is abundant, and there's a café adjoining the park.
