Been going here for 2 years. Not anymore. The “good” chef must have retired. I got chicken dum byriani tonight and it was horrible. The rice is white! I can’t find hardly any chicken.. the flavour is nothing like it used to be. I took a few bites and threw the rest total waste of $18

We tried this restaurant for the first time and enjoyed the dishes we tried. The mango lassi is great here different to what the other Indian restaurants serve you. We also ordered the Papdi chaat and were very impressed with the presentation, quality and taste. One of the best chaats we have had in Melbourne so far. The paneer schezwan noodles tasted great expect for the paneer as it just had a bit of sour taste. Also tried the chicken biryani which was again great taste.

Nice customer service. They are very popular for take away coffee in the morning and found their Hyderabadi dum biryani very delicious.its halal. Very mild but authentic taste. The sauces was also very tasty. Would recommend this place and will try their dosa next time.

Chicken 65 biryani and chat was delicious. Miss having them in Docklands.Also tried their Ramadan menu recently. It was good change from our usual order.

Not the first time I’ve been here.Tasty food with good serving sizes. I love the tandoori chicken and the lamb sheesh was delicious. Lamb vindaloo was a little thick but packed a punch! Korma was also so tasty and liked by all. Thanks for the beautiful food. Will definitely be back soon

This has become our regular place. Biryani is exceptional as always. Quality is very well maintained. Tried fried rice today and was equally impressed.Excellent service. Definitely the best Indian restaurant in this neighbourhood!

Butter chicken Serving was generous, service was excellent. But once again, u can tell from what I ordered I wouldn't know what authentic Indian food should taste like.The butter chicken wasn't bad, it wasn't that tasty and a little salty. But chicken was chunky and very tender.

My experience at Simply Indian Melton was disappointing. The food was poorly cooked and even after returning it for a remake, the same issue persisted. Taste also pathetic . I hope the restaurant takes steps to improve their food quality and consistency.

We ordered dosa, dahi bhalla, and idli from the restaurant. Unfortunately, the idli we received seemed to be stale, as if it had been prepared three days prior. The dosa was disappointingly hard, resembling paper, and the aloo stuffing tasted like it had been cooked and kept for a few days. We were extremely dissatisfied with the lack of freshness in the food we were served. We believe that it is crucial for a restaurant to serve fresh food to its customers. Very much disappointed.
