Good selection of cakes, coffee was goodI have been to The Village Emporium a couple of times and the coffee is always good (a little strong just how I like it) they have a good selection of cakes and slicesThe service is ok but as it's a place for the local" it can often take a while

Great cafe, plenty of well priced food options. But the coffee is the standout! Always well made, strong smooth flavour, been going there for years for the coffee. We were in there today, one of the coffees spilt a bit as they were carried out, the waitress took it straight back and had a new one made. To me, that says everything about how committed they are to making perfect coffee.

Nice coffee but was charged an extra $1 for soy for a small coffee which is crazy!!!!If they encorporated alternative milks like soy for those with allergies to normal milk like a lot of other cafes do nowadays, I'd consider making this place my local go to coffee stop.Especially when the price for alternative milks is almost on par with normal milk. Hope the owners take this feedback on board. Thanks
