Ordered two books online, one was delayed by a month and both were deformed during shipping due to inadequate packing techniques (just loosely sticking the book in an e-parcel sleeve).Edit: after contacting support, they dispatched a free replacement copy so I find their customer service to be satisfactory, however this replacement copy was also damaged the same way. Maybe stick to buying hardcovers.

Ordered two books from A&R since they were the cheapest I could find online, one in stock and one in stock with supplier. Items were shipped according to the stated delivery time. Package tracking was also provided, overall great experience.

Won’t be using this service again. I received a damaged book and notified them immediately. Two weeks later I was asked for photos which I supplied, then nothing.I have sent follow up emails with not so much as a response.Do yourself a favour and shop elsewhere, after sales service is non-existent.

The worst customer experience I've ever had with an online retailer. They messed up the order TWICE and eventually they simply gave up. 3.5 months for a book order and they were unable to complete the transaction and refunded my money. I'd think 3 or 4 times before purchasing from this retailer in the future

Ordered at Xmas, as wanted to give a present to someone start of February. They tell me it's not in stock and they will post in may . I sent emails asking for refund . In the mean time parcel shows up after all . Very disappointing as nothing like the description. Never again .

I'd give them no stars if I could. Ordered a book, listed as In Stock with our Suppliers, on 20/10/21. After the official instant confirmation email , I didn't hear from them at all until Tracking Information arrived yesterday. I was ringing them once a week but they never bothered to contact me once to update me on my order. So, today I got my book after 7 weeks and 2 days. I posted a box to Scotland and they got it in 11 days. This lot can't manage a paperback. Never again.

Got the same thing as other people here. Ordered a book, they took my money... then a couple days later emailed saying I needed to confirm some details. I could call them due to being busy at work, and by the time I got to them the order had been cancelled and I had to reorder. I call them again, and it was just to confirm the details I'd just put into the form to order... This isn't 1886 guys, we don't need to send a telegram to confirm the order.There is a reason QBD, amazon, bookdepository, and Fishpond are doing better, as when you order they ship it. AR will be the last place I will choose should I need to order a book.

Ordered an E-Book online and then they email me saying they need to confirm my details? for an eBook? So I called them back and had to wait half an hour just to talk to someone who merely confirmed my name an address, so they already had my details this whole time. Then after all this, they email back 4 days later saying they've cancelled my order and did not specify why in the email.I called them back and had to wait another half an hour just to realise they never took down my details and instead of reaching out they just cancelled my order. Garbage company. Never ordering from here again.

I never review places but I needed to review this place to let people know how terrible it is. I ordered a book set on the 25th of November, the item stated it was in stock and the shipping would be 2 days give or take. I emailed them on the 16th of December enquiring this order as I had yet to receive it. They began to tell me that the supplier has been delayed and that the item I ordered is out of stock and they don’t expect to have anymore until late January next year. However the item randomly delivered today (30th December.) Information is all over the place, the company does not even know their own stock information and the website should not be stating that something is in stock when it’s not.I am appalled to say the least with my experience. Never buying from here again & I would suggest you do the same.

Excellent! Ordered on the 22nd and arrived on the 23rd! Well packed and in a condition as if it were taken straight off the shelf. Price was great too, the cheapest I could find for the book. Much better than other booksellers (Dymocks, Book Depository etc.) who will happily take an exorbitant amount of your money, despite not having the item in stock, then take months to deliver. A&R will be my first choice for ordering books from now on!
