I was served by an extremely abrupt middle aged female staff member who clearly dislikes her job. As I stood waiting my turn, I remember thinking she was very rude to the two customers in front of me and her disposition didn't change when she served me. Expensive AND rude service. Do yourself and favour and avoid like the plague.

If you want a well priced service don’t go near this place. I wanted a simple zip put on some pants and they wanted to charge me $73 and advised it would take more than a week for a simple job. I paid $100 for the pants. The generous 2 stars is for the distance to a great coffee.

The hem came down on my dress and Ursula machine stitched straight away and didn’t charge me. Excellent job and service. Highly recommend.

I thought the terrible and rude customer service would be made up for in a quality job. This place not only didn’t finish the job I asked them to do but when I came back to get the completed dress it was ruined. They had stitched the lining of my dress to the zip for some reason making it bunch up at the back. It was my wedding dress so I was mortified. I had to get a friend’s mother in early on the day of my wedding to fix it. Ursula leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to customer service. She has no qualms yelling at you or talking poorly about other customers to you. I would not recommend this place for alterations.

Do not use this company. If something goes wrong, there is absolutely no customer service. After a problem in store, which they refused to correct and refused to contact head office, I requested a phone number for head office, but that diverted to messages and nothing happened after that. On the one time I did get through, the man refused to talk after he answered and I said hello. These people are extremely dodgy, both in store and by phone calls. Heaven help you if something goes wrong

Extremely poor service in response to polite requests, senior staff were very rude on two occasions. Very expensive for the service provided. Steaming of a dress not included in expensive price for bridesmaid dress alterations. Extremely disappointed and would highly recommend going elsewhere in Newcastle for alterations/dry cleaning services.

I had a wardrobe mishap at a dance class where my pants got ripped. Thankfully, this tailor and sewing company came to the rescue, fixing my pants flawlessly and even adding extra room for a better fit. Their attention to detail and exceptional service exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!

Will never recommend this place. They wrecked my daughters dress, they blamed the manufacturer & the girl didn’t care less. I asked for a refund & she said no, it wasn’t their fault.They actually cut too much off her dress & it went up at the back. They told her to turn it around, It was for her 30th birthday which was two days away & she showed no compassion.I returned the next day to sore it out & there was another girl on, she agreed that it was their fault & refunded me the money.Still didn’t help that my daughter lost her dress.Very disappointed, will never return.

Weren't clear about date item would be ready, then rushed the service, essentially I paid for them to cut off my shorts. Lovely people but ensure you are aware of date your items will be ready.
