Always a great experience visiting. Service is consistently perfect, food is well-made in generous portions and there's always a positive vibe in the air. Undoubtedly, this is the result of care taken by the owners as an independent local pub.

Love this pub. Haven't been there for about 10 years. They've added a great covered outdoor area with large TV screens. Would make for an excellent afternoon watching the footy or cricket and having a beer. Staff were great. Dinner was tasty and didn't cost the earth. I still have a vintage 1950/60s monogrammed goodwood park hotel pint glass at home somewhere. I should bring it next time I'm in Adelaide.

My first visit to this eatery. Was very happy with the meal. Love their weekly special, grilled lamb with black truffle risotto and rocket salad. Very generous size and reasonable price. Will come back to try other food.

Living alone means you don't often have a lovely roast meal. This roast lamb was very obviously cooked, refrigerated and reheated and tasted that way.The vegetables were lovely.The meat was left on the plate. Last meal at this hotel for the 6 of us

Went to Goody last night which used to be my local before moving. Had a great night and excellent food & footy on big screen added to the atmosphere in the beer garden . Well done to all staff. Bloody great pub & will be back more often .

Great night doing the quiz. Our table was next to the door so kept getting a cold breeze everyone someone walked in or out, so I'd recommend sitting further into the room if its cold outside. Food was larger than expected and reasonably priced

The place was absolutely amazing. It was really busy. Despite being busy the food was served relatively fast. The lamb of the day just tasted amazing and the portion was huge. The fish was soft and delicious. Good place to catch up with your mates and drink. Plenty of space to park your car and there is a liquor store next to the shop in case you want to drink more at home

This is a top suburban pub in metropolitan Adelaide. It has an extensive menu with a good selection as daily specials. We had a group of five in the main dining room. We chose two southern fired chicken burgers, the Asian salad with beef, a chicken schnitzel with mushroom sauce and the roast of the day (pork). Booking on line was easy, and even though the dining room was busy (Sunday lunch), the ordering of food progressed quickly. Our food also came out quite promptly. Serves were ample. Each dish was well presented and tasted great. Not our first visit, and it will not be our last.
