James and TPFT provided us with great service and great prices. James responded quickly and patiently to many, many questions; organized timely delivery and offered other assistance with our order. Nothing seemed like too much trouble. As a novice owner builder the service offered by TPFT made all the difference to our building experience. I also loved dealing with a Hills based, local company. As may be common with most owner builders, i had a limited amount of experience and a lot of questions. And i changed my mind. a lot.James at TPFT was fantastic - expertise, advice, response time to questions, price. James at TPFT was such a huge help to us, he designed a truss system that would fit our air conditioning unit into a very low roof pitch. He also liaised with our roof carpenter for us and made sure that everything ran smoothly. Highly recommended.

The steel wall frames from TPFT have just finished being installed on my job today - and considering the state of the building industry, it is amazing to note that this phase has been without fault. This was a big job, over 500m2 of floor area , with three fireplaces, bulkheads, cavity sliders - and all of the frames have been exact to documentation and design. All of the frames were delivered as required, and manufactured without any faults or discrepancies. James Gill at TPFT has been extremely professional and helpful to deal with, offering quality suggestions and advice during the design and documentation phase. The frames were manufactured very promptly and clearly to exacting standards. Mitchell Bailey from Frame Design Australia details and documents for TPFT and he was extremely helpful and detailed with over 150 pages of detailed frame diagrams. James and Mitchell are happy to involve discussion with the client and it is certainly worthwhile to make sure the job is right. James recommended Mick Cserepanyi and his team for the wall erection and the roof - which has been excellent advice. Mick has completed the works promptly to a excellent standard, as well as being a terrific tradesman to deal with. Even the truck driver who delivered the frames was a great bloke and very helpful. I can unreservedly recommend TPFT for anyone requiring timber or steel wall framing and trusses.

Built a sizeable outbuilding on my property and searched around for roofing solutions for the build , James went over and above in assisting me via phone discussion and email with correctly engineered drawings and solutions . Not being in the trade myself I asked my carpenter to verify everything as he would be fitting it , came back 100% and couldn't beat it price wise and efficiency with his usual supplier thus he he will be contacting James at TPFT for future work .Carpentry knowledge is also exellent as he used fit it all before going on now to supply so was able to advise me on any problems encountered expecially when I changed from roof tiles to roof sheets , then went on to supply me all the roofing materials including plumbing via a third party a lot cheaper than I could have sourced myselfExellent service , support and price so would certainly recommend

Trade Price Roof Trusses recently designed and manufactured the Attic roof trusses for my new house. I am a retired Architect and Builder who's career experience has been in non-residential works. I was disappointed that several other truss manufacturers had been unable to adequately satisfy my requirements but James Gill confirmed at our first meeting that he would be able to do so and he was absolutely right. The end result has been a first class roof structure produced on time and at a good price. Very professional service from day 1.James was always available and helpful when needed. As an owner builder constructing a 2 storey home, James was always willing to share his experience about roof construction. No phone call to him went unanswered. James made a site visit to my property, measured and redesigned my trusses to match. Fantastic service from the very start. The manufacture and delivery was made on the precise day as scheduled. The laminated coloured A3 sized drawings, information and instructions supplied with the trusses, made the installation quick and easy. I am an owner builder and elected to use a truss roof design and after extensive research I decided to use TPFT.I have found TPFT (James) to be excellent in their knowledge and construction of the required trusses. The design incorporates several raked ceilings and bulkheads throughout the roof and James' knowledge was fundamental in the final design and construction process.I had several queries throughout the design and construction process and the support from James was excellent including a couple of site visits to ensure the required accuracy of the trusses was met.In selecting a truss manufacture, price was not the only consideration, however TPFT price was very competitive.James' on going customer service, willingness to help and knowledge goes well beyond my expectations and I have no hesitation in recommending TPFT to any owner builder or building company.
