A & A To Z Plumbing

Got these guys in for a quote because of the reviews. Quoted me over $3,000 for the installation of two taps and a toilet. They could've just told me they didn't want to do the job, save me some time.

i paid $60 for these people to come out and give me a quote to connect hot water and cold water to an outside kitchen. They gave me a verbal quote of $5000. So way over expensive for the required job. Also the attending individual asked for an $80 call on fee which went completely against the agreed upon fee of $60 on the phone. They refused to give a written quote until i agreed to a deposit, basically blackmailing me but not providing the quote, until i committed to the job.

After having a blockage in my drains I decided to search yellow pages and this company seemed to have great feedback. After they attended, at first seemed professional and trustworthy, After quoting me $5,000 for replacing a small section of pipe they promised me they would put haste behind the job as I have young kids and mentioned it would be fixed within 4 days in which I accepted as I needed it fixed and I was happy to have it fixed quickly.1 week later I hadn’t heard anything and after already paying $970 to them already as a progress payment + deposit a negative feeling sunk in that they have just ripped me off so I posted an Ad on HIpages and received 3 very quick quotes far lower than $5k. Upon A & A to Z Plumbing missing my call they called back a few hours later to say I was booked in for the following day. This was news to me having heard nothing from them over the past week, they then argued with me on timing and insisted they were within timeframes, this was after I had advised them to cancel the job.I feel sick that I paid this company a $470 deposit (the $480 for the camera I will be ok with) on the job that they will never do however glad I did not provide them with another $4,000 for what took another company 1 and half hours to repair…Short story, steer clear of this company.

Person who took my call extremely helpful, understood our difficulty with no hot water ,promisedto get one of his plumbers out urgently,John turned up within 2 hours,assessed our situation that our hot water heater was too old to repair ,checked his suppliers & was back with it after lunch ,all refitted very quickly ,fantastic job

I contacted A to Z plumbing late on a Sunday night at 11:00PM , they arrived within the hour and fixed my toilet. They left the bathroom cleaner then when they arrived. Would highly recommend!!!!!
