Silk’s Rest on Savannah Way
Excellent place to relax for a few days. Great country experience, the host (Ron) is a top bloke. Well set-up. Ablutions are neat and tidy and showers are great - well maintained. Sites have water no power - not an issue for today’s RV’s. The Gorge is marvellous, the local pub friendly. Definitely recommend to anyone.

Silk’s Rest on Savannah Way
We stayed at Silks for 3 nights. It was so peaceful and spacious. Very clean amenities, lots of bird life, close to the pub and the spectacular Copperfield gorge. Very relaxed atmosphere and friendly owner. Would highly recommend if staying in Einasleigh.

Silk’s Rest on Savannah Way
My friend Janette and I stopped in the other night to say G'day to Rob @Silk's Rest. Beautiful clear skies for a spot of star gazing and photography. This was all backed up with a campfire, great yarns and a cold drink. See ya next time I'm in town Rob. And if you are heading to Einasleigh stay a while at Silky's you won't regret this choice of camp grounds.

Silk’s Rest on Savannah Way
$20 unpowered for 2 adults - same price as the caravan park - but no toilet paper or soap in the toilets, no camp kitchen or laundry. Shower was hot but felt like little needles, not much water coming through the shower head. Dogs barking at night, rooster crowing at dawn. Was reasonable at $5 per person per night just a few weeks ago but now DOUBLE the price. Overpriced.

Brilliant little camp ground. Unpowered $10 pp, amenities block, fresh water, campfires allowed. Interesting art metal work around camp. Friendly owner.
