Vinnies Ipswich

Arrived a few minutes after 4pm to the gates closed and “no dumping” sign and 2 staff came and looked at me and then walked back inside so I had to drive another 20 minutes to the next charity bin that had a loading dock. Absolutely never going there again wasted my petrol and had to drive to the next place with no petrol when I was trying to do something good for the community now I know why people don’t bother and just chuck good stuff in the rubbish.

WAY overpriced!!! Would like to know who is pricing this stuff and why.. More expensive than new. Unfortunately we won't be coming here again.

Great selection of costume! Store is laid out in a spacious and tidy manner. There is a large selection of women's clothes and furniture as well as a whole extra room for books! Love it!

Nice, clean, orderly store. The range of ladies clothes and shoes isn't bad but I wish there was more of a selection for kids of different ages. Other than that a pleasant experience.

This is a warehouse size charity shop. Very large so you can guarantee to find a good bargain if you look long enough. Also has spaces to donate as well. I know it is a charity shop but it does need a little revamp on the entry. There's few parking spaces at the front and round the back.

Went there a couple of days ago only to find clothes and shoes priced from $30 all the way through to $60 which is ridiculous since you can buy brand new items for those prices. Even found a pair of kmart shoes priced at $20 when they weren't even that much at kmart brand new. Please donate your items to any other charity besides this one, all they do is rip off the community.

Vinnies Ipswich Brisbane St is a large warehouse with- furniture- clothes- books.There is a great little corner dedicated to children's books and a separate room for the rest of the books with chairs and tables.There are a couple of car parks near the side ( main ) entrance and more parking down the back.

My visit to Vinnies in Ipswich with my son was absolutely disgraceful. The high prices, their not even embarrassed about, not to mention the treatment they call service. If you're not great at being a people person then don't work in that field.. how some people get their jobs here, I don't know.Not only does my son not want to return but neither do I.. not worth my time and money.

“West Ipswich Vinnies” Attention-ANITA(current manager?) after enjoying browsing and finding a few treasures in the store, I came smiling to the counter to pay and left feeling embarrassed and like I was being accused of and caught stealing?!! Apparently the price on the item, I was happy to pay for was incorrect and someone had changed the price sticker? How was I to know? You then challenged me saying you put the item out that morning and then removed the item I’d found for sale, this was in front of other customers. Very unprofessional, unwelcoming and many of the store’s donated items are now ridiculously overpriced! You are not a second hand shop(with a dealers licence)you are an opportunity, peoples charity shop.I have supported and shopped at charity, church, opportunity and second hand shops for over 30years. I enjoy the nostalgic memories of recognised treasures, I have reused, recycled, up cycled and did my bit to repurpose bricbrac, clothing, and all the lovely things I have bought and saved from being thrown out, donated and not wanted.You should encourage items being bought, not hoarding with the over pricing and removing items because I found a fair priced one. Most importantly try to at least, act like a professional manager? Learn by treating your regular visiting and paying customers with warmth, we are the people that support the Vinnies stores across their services.
