Toowoomba Sports Ground

Food was okay, however I had to wait 30 mins for a steak, when I went to the bathroom there was mayonnaise on the floor and moaning in one of the stalls

Great field, well maintained and clean facilities

Absolutely terrible experience. Will never return. Was pretty excited to see Our Gold Coast Titans in Toowoomba. But the stadium is horrible. Only minimum grand stand seating which was sold out so we had General admission which I thought would be fine but that was a free for all stand on a patch of grass with no shade at all. Made us leave stroller at bag check, so 6 month old baby was suffering in the heat and uncomfortable conditions. Had to leave early so huge waste of money and time. Your aloud disabled wheelchairs, scooters for the elderly but no stroller for a child that cant walk. Facility's are terrible not family friendly at all. Very disgusted and out of pocket $170 for a game we didn't watch.

Good venue but if we want go attract more NRL matches here, we need to do it up. A stadium extension needed for the grandstand, seating and stands on the western terraces and better entry gates. I've heard the line up for toilets and the bars was too long to wait, so fix that. Also fix the ground PA system as it made a horrible static noise pre game. Why did the fire alarm sound towards the end? In any case not one person got up to evacuate, so Perhaps that needs to be addressed. Bigger TV screens also needed as replays hard to see. The ground looked magnificent and full marks to the ground staff. Full marks to the TRL and NRL and the Roosters and Dragons for getting it done. Everyone was well behaved and great atmosphere.Cheers

Good venue ,good facilities highly recommended

Toowoomba council please consider the rights of East Toowoomba residents. A new stadium outside a residential neighborhood would be responsible town planning. Noise, parking issues and intoxicated attendants are a constant source of unwelcome occurrence in the neighborhood, due to this venues location.

One of the most historic of our 1800's regional sport parks. The TSG has been providing sport experiences for the Toowoomba community for 160 years. The facility is currently managed by the QLD government, with the SRQ office being located in the venue. Over the years there has been many additions to the facility, and it is up to a contemporary standard. The facility has been identified to host events during the 2032 Brisbane Olympic Games.

Toowoomba needs to build a new stadium outside of city centre. Noise and traffic problems will increase if expanded. Will we lose historical croquet court, tennis courts, bowls club to accommodate stadium upgrade? That is what I heard. Community needs to protest now to a redevelopment. Let's think outside the square! A new multi purpose built stadium in western Toowoomba with access to bypass, wellcamp airport with energy efficient facilities including bus drop off zones will draw the crowd pleasing games. Keep CB stadium for other more cultural aligned purposes or let East State School expand its sporting facilities to this site. Would love to hear community feedback to this post.
