Haven Red Hill

We were lucky enough to stay at the Haven in Jan 2022 and absolutely loved our 3 nights there. Effortless (and contactless) check in from Dave & Kerry, we were in Suite 2 which is a beautiful room with bath, shower and a gorgeous continental breakfast provided by our hosts to eat outside the room in the lovely garden. The pool is fantastic to relax in and the gardens are beautiful for an early morning or evening walk. There are a couple of chickens and a very cute cat there as well! The complimentary bottle of wine was gratefully received and enjoyed before a great nights sleep in the very comfortable king bed. The tiled bathroom floor has under tile heating in case you’re visiting in colder months and the location for some great restaurants in Red Hill is perfect, less than 5 minutes to Port Philip, the Epicurean, Foxeys, etc. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

We have just discovered Haven Red Hill, and instantly fell in love. This gem of a B&B is exactly what we were looking for: an authentic Australian country retreat with a rustic, yet sophisticated feel.We got to really unwind in this peaceful and secluded farm setting, in the midst of gorgeous gardens. The lambs were a lovely surprise and added to an amazing experience!The accommodation was faultless and tastefully decorated, and we found the bed extremely comfortable. The espresso machine was also a big plus!

We had a lovely time staying at Haven for the last 2 nights. The room is modern and very clean with nice decor. The outdoor setting is beautiful with the gardens, pool and rural outlook. If you pass by the owner he is very friendly and provides everything you could need for a very comfortable stay. We would definitely stay here again next time in the area, thank you!

Haven, heaven, you choose, what a truly special place. From the moment you arrive you know this to be true. Set amongst beautiful rolling hills, tucked away just off the main roads of the Peninsula’s wineries, we drove up a small drive into what felt like a secret garden. We were greeted by Haven’s owner, Dave, who made us feel welcome from the start, including providing some great recommendations for the area. The accommodations are artful, tasteful, chic, and oh-so-comfortable. A truly memorable highlight from our trip to Australia, if you’re headed to the Peninsula this is your retreat.

My husband and I booked a night at Haven, Red Hill because it looked like a lovely place to get away and have some time out from the kids. The place lived up to all our expectations, not just because of the gorgeous decor and attention to detail that has gone into making your stay truly comfortable, but also because of the owners, Dave and Kerry, who were so warm, welcoming and generous with their time. We will definitely be back!

Stunning property allowing for walks for days. The room itself was a holiday in itself, beautiful bathroom with a perfectly manicured garden right at the doorstep. We had the most incredible stay here. The property itself was beautiful, and the rooms were incredible comfortable, spacious and well kept. The hosts were so kind and accommodating, and all the little touches made us feel so welcome! Can't wait to go back

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at Haven. It was such a delightful and relaxing stay, a perfect slice of paradise within easy driving distance of all the attractions the peninsula has to offer. Dave and Kerry were perfect hosts - unobtrusive yet welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. The gardens were just beautiful and the room itself was cosy, clean and decorated simply but beautifully. Swimming in a lovely pool with a view of rolling country hills and sheep and cows for company was a real experience and one that I hope to repeat. The breakfast provided was fresh and delicious. The only very slight negative for us was that the lack of bench space made preparing breakfast and washing up a bit challenging however this was a tiny inconvenience which the delicious home made strawberry jam more than made up for! We both hope to return to stay at Haven again.
