When I enter a store that sells specialist gear, I expect there to be someone in attendance who has good knowledge of the products available in the store. Included in this, I expect some knowledge of a particular brand/product's performance, advantages and disadvantages in comparison to the competition.When an attendant tells me they simply reckon their product is better than the competition, only to go on to prove they know nothing about the competition whatsoever, and only for me to find that a quick Google search provides overwhelming evidence that their statements are the opposite of fact, on top of a pushy sales attitude and non-existent listening skills, I'd prefer to have the attendant that knows nothing and admits it.
