The Hood Milk Bar
We shared the big breakfast and the fish and chips. Both dishes were amazingly good. It was one of the best battered fish I had in a while. Chips were amazing too. It was served with a side of salad. The big breakfast was huge and very yummy. It came with a delicious chilli jam. We also ordered a latte and a vanilla milkshake that were very good too. I can't recommend enough that place.

$6.50 for a small coffee that tasted like milk and minimal coffee. You'd expect a great coffee for over $5 in a really small cup.

Service and food was fair, it was our first time here and tried the corn fritters and pulled pork burger. The pork was spot on - soft and moist with heaps of flavour! The portion size was on the small side for the price. The corn fritters were filling and would have been great with more salt, however there was no salt on the table probably because of sanitation measures. Would be keen to try other dishes there and definitely dessert next time.

Cute store with lot's of gelato options/flavours. It was even difficult to choose as you have 2 full fridges packed with multiple tasty looking icecreams. Reasonable prices and additionally to that also very good coffee. I had almond latte and it was really good. Friendly staff and opening hours are longer too.

Really disappointing customer service while waiting to be served for ice cream with my 3 kids. Completely ignored, twice. Dismissive, rude staff.Happy to take my business down the road to Dougheads as they now serve ice cream also, where the staff are really lovely and in a quieter and more chilled space.The hood used to be our regular, but not any more.

My first time visiting here, I tried Iced Latte on Oat Milk with Plain Croissant. My sister had Iced Chocolate and Almond Croissant. They were ok for me. I might visit here later in the morning time so I can try savory dishes.The price is reasonable and acceptable.

Awful coffee. The shot was bitter and burnt and the milk was grossly overheated. Undrinkable coffee. Far better options at other cafes around The Junction and on Darby Street. Don't waste your money there.

Great food. Have eaten a few times. Breakfast lunch and dessert. Must say food has been excellent every time. Great egg and bacon rolls. Great smashed avo (with lots of avo). The ice creams next levelGreat works guys
