Linda Jane Doble - Dressmaker

Linda has been just fantastic. I took her my wedding dress that I had started to make myself and she turned it from something that was ill fitting and unfinished to a professionally fitted and finished garment. Nothing was too much trouble, she went over and above and put in lots of extra time to finish off the details that have made all the difference. Highly recommended!

Linda is amazing, I can't recommend her highly enough. She is patient, accommodating, and incredibly skilled at what she does. She altered two wedding dresses for me, including one at the eleventh hour and they came out perfectly. Very reasonably priced as well! She also makes wedding dresses from scratch and if I found her before I found my wedding dress (and had enough lead time) I would have had her custom make my dress. Hopefully I have a good excuse in the future to have a dress made by her.

Linda was amazing making me the perfect wedding dress from my description and a few photos. She helped me source the material and it was perfectly made for my body. She was great at communication all the way through the process and I had so many compliments on my wedding day about my beautiful dress. She was also extremely well priced for a dress made from scratch with no pattern.

Linda was so friendly. She listened to what I wanted and then gave me some great suggestions. She was so quick in completely my wedding dress hemming. Also very reasonable priced.Linda is the only person who I trust to complete all my dress making and hemming.Highly recommend.

I couldn't be happier with my experience with Linda. My dress was perfect in every way and nothing was an issue. Linda also altered my daughter's bridesmaid dresses and they fitted beautifully. My girl's were extremely happy. Her knowledge and willingness to please is amazing. I would highly recommend Linda for any dress alteration/design.

Linda did a fantastic job creating my wedding dress. I wanted a dress modelled on another that I already owned, with some alterations, and the final product was perfect.Linda was incredibly professional and helpful throughout the whole process, recommending the best fabric, helping me decide the best fit for my shape, and how to subtly alter the original pattern to achieve the look I was after.Nothing was ever too much trouble, with a couple of adjustments made just a week before the wedding. And Linda was so lovely and friendly throughout.I cannot recommend Linda highly enough! It was an absolute pleasure, and I was beyond thrilled with the final result.

Linda has some great reviews on here that all read true! She altered my wedding dress for me, making a lot of tricky small adjustments that all came together to make my dress look perfectly fitted on the day. She’s easy going and extremely skilled and easy to work with. I absolutely loved my dress and had so many comments on it suiting me, and I truly think Linda’s alterations were what made it just right. Thank you Linda!!

Linda was so lovely and accommodating at very short notice. Super happy with her work making a small adjustment re. skirt sizing for me last year (meant to review earlier!). Reasonable pricing too! Recommend completely.

Linda helped me with my wedding dress fitting, as I had a very very long and unruly train on my wedding dress (with about 10 separate layers of tulle!). She did a wonderful job, and met with me multiple times for fittings before my wedding. She is very friendly, easy to work with, and reasonably priced. She also makes custom dresses which she has around the stores that look beautiful! I would highly recommend Linda!

Linda is an incredibly talented dressmaker. She did the extensive alterations on my wedding dress and they were all done perfectly. She is very reasonably priced and her work is meticulous. I would highly recommend her for alterations but have no doubt that her work designing and creating from scratch is equally as beautiful! Thank you Linda!!
