Benny and Joe did an amazing job and were awesome to deal with! They made the move from ACT to VIC so much easier.The scheduling was not so good. Booked for Friday and paid the deposit to then be told Friday isn’t actually available. As I needed to catch a flight Saturday I asked what time the removalist would arrive and was told 11-12 would be the approximate time of arrival. Then told 4-6pm the day before and then no response. It’s easier just not to lie from the start and work with the actual time instead of trying to secure customers.Overall Benny and Joe were great and the scheduling seriously let’s the whole team down.

James, Paige, Mele and Harley were amazing!! They made the huge trip so easy and went out of their way to help us with our rural property’s crazy entrance on final destination.They made the whole experience incredible and really appreciate all they did.Thank you!Georgie & Sam

Would definitely recommend Star City Removals. Great price and service. Very easy to deal with as well. The movers Benny and Joe were awesome! They communicated with me very well so I knew what was going on at all times and were friendly and professional. Very happy all round.

Worst company I have ever dealt with. Arrived late picking up my goods not until 7PM and then expected us to be at the drop off which is 8 hours away by lunch the next day.When my bed arrived the head board was broken as they didn’t dissemble it completely which this service was meant to be included in the price, the broken pieces were not returned to us to try fix. The removalist directed me to their claims department as insurance was also included in the price. Claims department took 8 weeks to come to an outcome which was very unreasonable. When asked how they came to the amount as we disagreed there was no response (if the amount was based on a repairer that would of been okay we just wanted to know where the price came from as we couldn’t find anything close to it ourselves). 4 weeks later I requested contact details for the complaints department as I had no response, to now a further 3 weeks later and still no response and no final outcome of claim. Worst service from any company I have ever received, would never recommend.

Booking star city to move my stuff from brisbane to adelaide was one of the worst decisions i could have made. Got a quote, paid 300 deposit and was given a 4-6pm time slot. At 1.30pm i check in to see how they are going for time. I get told at 2pm that theyre 20 mins away. Shocked, and not ready, i query this change and am told that the driver had contacted me and to keep my phone nearby. I attached screenshots to show i had no missed calls or messages and told them i need til 3pm. Speaking to the driver he was very rude and said its YOUR moving day, how are you not ready.. well maybe because i only decided to move 3 days before?? None of their business really, if they were on schedule i wouldve been ready! They turned up and started loading my bed, and have a few more items on the truck when suddenly they turn around and say its 2m³ over. It was ALL visible and on the lawn before they started loading. No way is 2m³ an amount you just miscalculate. They should have discussed prior to loading any items. They were obnoxious, aggressive and bordering on illiterate, yelling at me that my 90L plastic tubs (my quote was for 103L so should have been happy) were actually 90-128L" tubs.. because the LIDS have a label stating they fit tubs from 90 to 128L. The tubs labels clearly state they are 90L tubs. I said no to the extra 500$

Grant started the great costumer relationship, and the professional removalists Benny and Joe finished this journey, having the job amazingly done. They cared about everything, loading and unloading my stuff. Everything were very well wrapped in blankets and and placed carefully in the truck. Thanks guy, excellent experience.

I recently used a removal company to move from Peregian Springs on the Sunshine Coast to Dee Why in Sydney, and I have to say, they exceeded my expectations in every way. From start to finish, their team was professional, courteous, and efficient.The communication leading up to the move was excellent, with regular updates and reminders to ensure everything was on track. On the day of the move, the team arrived promptly and got straight to work, carefully packing and loading my belongings onto their truck.Despite some unexpected challenges on the road, the team kept me informed and worked tirelessly to get everything delivered safely and on time. I was particularly impressed with how they handled some fragile items, taking extra care to ensure they were well-protected and arrived in one piece.Overall, I couldn't be happier with the service provided by this removal company. They made what could have been a stressful and overwhelming experience into a seamless and stress-free one. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of a removal service!!!!!Five stars for the sales team and the removals!!!!

Rob and Josh have moved me twice (from rural to the city and vice versa) and if I could give 100 stars I would. Both SO lovely to deal with, accomodating, careful, communicative and just so great at what they do! Huge thank you to both boys for getting the job done efficiently and quickly. Absolute top blokes, could not be more grateful.Small hiccup was at head office’s end, I was told that the boys knew my electricity wouldn’t be on when they delivered my furniture, but they actually hadn’t been told that no lights would be on… despite this they soldiered on and did an excellent job with a smile. Can’t thank you enough for making something so stressful SUCH an easy time for me.

Couldn’t recommend them enough. The whole process has been really smooth. Troy and Cassie were super friendly and helpful, obviously they love what they do. Will definitely use Star City again. A massive thank you.
