Quirky old buildingPark up the driveway behind the Art Centre at front ( next door to Dylan's)There are stairs to the bedroomsIt is being renovated and painted and is in need of some refurbishment.Owners Phil and Cathy were gracious hosts and carried our bags upstairs.We had a lovely time there - you will have everything you need including WIFI, little kitchenette upstairs to make tea or coffee and it's walking distance to so many restaurants and activities.

Albany Foreshore Guest House
As a couple in our early 50's we chose our accommodation for the history, we were not let down, large room with cathedral type ceilings. Our hosts being Katherine and Phillip were wonderful, breakfast in the dining area adds to the charm. Should you prefer modern day accommodation this is not the place for you. Well priced and homely feel.

Have stayed here twice in a month , very old looking because it's heritage listed , very nice . Last time we got a bigger room , more roomy and more comfortable. The breakfast is very nice and so are the owners. .

Interesting historic building, very well located, fascinating quirky decor, excellent cooked breakfast, good amenities, secure parking, lovely hospitality. Not changed in over 20 years staying there. Most enjoyable and best value accommodation stayed at ever.

We had a great stay. Lovely hosts and a great location. Feels like you're sleeping in a museum, a unique experience. My wife suffers from asthma and hay fever but had no problems. It was summer and we did keep the windows open.

Do not stay here. The old building and quirky paintings may look attractive on the outside; on the inside however this building is full of mould. You will find mould al the way up the walls, on the ceiling and something nasty being covered up by some paper on the walls. I am a plasterer and a painter and left as soon as I could. The owners are as rotten as their building. They have refused to refund me and told me I could stay in another hotel and then pointed to the Hilton over the road. Do not stay here. I have warned you

I’ve never seen such a lovely house. I was able to spend a lot of fun with the owner's hobbies such as the collection of paintings and cameras . This hospitality was so great as well. Thank you.

It is a very interesting and quirky heritage building in great location. The owners were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful.My room with ensuite facilities was huge.Tea and coffee making facilities and a shared fridge is available on the landing.I would definitely stay here again.

We loved this clean and quirky guesthouse, with its heritage charm and lovely hosts, Cathy and Phillip. Great location-very central, can easily walk to anywhere in the city centre. Includes secure parking, home-cooked, amazing breakfasts and lots of thoughtful little touches such as complementary port and a private guest kitchenette, well-stocked with tea/coffee/bikkies! We loved staying there- highly recommended.
