Waited 10 days for appointment to see the doctor I was recommended to by a friend. Receptionist was pleasant but informed me that there would be a small admin fee (70.00) . I produced my DVA gold card but was told sorry we are not taking any new patients as we are losing Doctors. As a new permanent resident in Bargara I was extremely dissapointed in the attitude. I needed to see a Doctor and now I get to keep looking. Waiting to see if they ring back to explain or apologise.Pleased to report that I received a phone call and apology and a new appointment. Still not taking permanent patients but it's a start. Appreciated the call.

Turned me away when I was in so much pain. Just wanted an antibiotic script to get me thru two weeks holiday until I got home. They couldn’t have cared less. Not good enough.

I have been with this practice for over 2 years.My treatment from the receptionist was nothing short of rude with little compassion, I realised I was near out of medication and interstate, tried for e-script, this was completely refused, then for a phone consultation, 3 weeks before I could book this phone call.I will look for a new practice in 2022.

Very thorough and attentive.I have been both disappointed in trying to gain appointments in a timely fashion and delighted in getting appointments within days. So if its busy its busy, not much you can do but their sister clinic in East usually has same day appointments.I have never have to wait long in the waiting room and I never felt rushed during a consult.Pretty happy so far.

Can not highly recommend Dr Gavin enough. I've seen a few doctors but none are as thorough and caring as him. I've never felt rushed or judged in his appointments and he always puts my mind at ease.

There can be a bit of a delay/wait for your scheduled appointment time as they do get quite busy, but this is worth it for the thoroughness and professionalism of not only the doctors and nurses but also the friendly front counter staff. B~}

I was in Bagara visiting my Daughter and family who live there and needed to go to the Drs for a script. I live in NSW, so I went to make an appointment, i have a disability pension and was told that they only bulk bill pensions if they LIVE in Bagara. And woyld have to pay a small fee. $69 is not a small fee. A PENSION CARD IS A PENSION CARD EVERYWHERE IN AUSTRALIA. I DONT LIKE BEING DISCRIMINATED AGAINST.

Called to make an appointment to get repeat script, told don't take visitors when I told the reception I was already registered there, I was informed they only see local residents.Suggest that anyone traveling in this area DON'T FALL ILL.Absolute disGRACE FAMILY PRACTICE, worst we have encountered around Australia.I too am a senior Australian on a pension.

After taking my aged client to them at their cancer clinic in town I was impressed.we drive 50 minutes to see them. I've tried a few of their Doctors and found them all very good.Professionally run reception.I highly recommend them.
