Freedom - Hobart

Had a good experience in the store. Had ordered a couple of things online but wanted to see a bed in person before buying. Staff were friendly.and helpful.

I ordered a sofa from them in Oct 2022 and paid a deposit of $1600. The delivery date was already due so I called them many times for the update of my order delivery but they told me to wait as it will take 3 weeks for my order to come to Hobart from Melbourne so we waited patiently anticipating for our sofa to be delivered soon. But yesterday they called me to say that my order has been lost and they weren't informed by their warehouse about it. They said sorry and offered me cheaper price of the same sofa but I have to wait again for it to be processed and delivered (5-6months) so I asked for a refund instead!!! If I didn't call them for an update of my order they wouldn't inform me that my order was lost. We were very disappointed as we waited for nearly 6 months for our sofa to come. Very very disappointing!!!! I would not recommend freedom to anyone. If you order from freedom you might not get your order.

Waited 7 months for my sun stained poor conditioned Sofa with pulls all through the fabric. (See photos) contacted freedom straight away to let them know it was damaged. Since then (9 weeks ago) I have been told via email that someone from the service team will contact me in 3 to 4 business days 3 times over the past 9 weeks and I am yet to hear from anyone! Straight up lied. Now I'm left with a faded horrible looking Sofa I paid full price for and don't know what to do. Beware people!

Nice collection of lamps, sofa sets, chairs, tables, bathroom accessories. Wanted to buy a lounge chair but was told we had to wait 22 weeks for delivery! Way too long.

I must compliment Freedom, especially Gina at the Hobart Store, who was absolutely fantastic! Gina went out of her way to assist me with my original purchase of a Harper Entertainment Unit. She tracked down where it was and called me at home and told me where it was and when it would be delivered. At the time, Freedom was having computer problems. Due to Gina's friendly and most helpful assistance, I visited Freedom's Hobart store the following week and purchased a kitchen table and chairs, again Gina and her smiling face looked after us wonderfully. Also all the furniture we bought, we love, it's top quality, great design and looks fantastic in our home. Thank you Gina and Freedom Hobart!

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!!!We have waited for our couch for over a year.Paid it fully this week and organised for it to be delivered and then we had to call and check it was coming and it’s not.For the entire year we have had to call to find out where it was.We will never buy anything from Freedom Hobart again.Lift your game there’s plenty of mad customers on here saying the same thing

The WORST customer service experience of my life!! I have waited 6 months for furniture that I have paid a deposit on, tried to cancel for a refund and was PROMISED I would receive before the end of November and here we are in December and still nothing!!What’s more… the store has now shut and there is NO way for me to contact the store to chase my order!! You are thieves freedom Hobart!! I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!!

Beware.....we purchased sofas and received a $200 store credit, but were not told at the time of purchase that the store credit only lasts for 3 months. Although we're happy with the sofas, we're disappointed at not being told the credit had an expiry date. Very poor customer service, we won't be back!Thankyou so much for resolving this, it's very appreciated
