Just had possibly one of the worst customer experiences in a long time.Staff clearly have not been trained since taking over.My wife and I loved going to gold class for date night quite frequently but I will now not bother and invest in a home theatre.

Used to be one of our favourite places to go. The screens and seats are great and the movie experience is top notch. But their recent price increases are ridiculous- 28 dollars to see a movie?! Then add another 20 dollars for popcorn and a drink. Sorry, that’s too rich for my blood -especially when we can see the movies on the streaming services within a month or two of release.

At the outset I must say that the theatre and the movie were great, my disappointment is with the misleading advertising promotion aimed at Seniors. They advertise $9.50 tickets before 5pm and $4.00 for a choc top. Today we were charged $23.00 each for an 11h30 am midweek movie and quoted $6.20 for a chocolate top, both substantially more than what we, as Hoyts senior members, were promised via their website.How can they justify this?

Lux experience wasn’t very lux at all. Was looking forward to a fun different cinema experience and the service wasn’t great had no direction to the cinema I had to ask where and when to go. No one greeted us upon entry and overall customer service was disappointing. The employees show no care for their job it seems.Chairs are comfy that was nice but I would’ve liked some chips with the bowl of salt I was given. The chips were almost inedible without shaking salt off. Overall experience wasn’t deluxe at all. Wouldn’t come back.

After my third visit within 30 days, I can say with confidence that HOYTS Currambine is a great cinema. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food is good and doesn't blow a golf ball sized hole through your wallet, plus, they've always got a good variety of screenings. Would 100% recommend this place to a friend.

Great experience, the staff were good and the food was very nice. The wine and cocktail were also fantastic.You have to go treat yourselves to the Grand cinema Gold lounge experience and live it up. I had the roast lamb yorkies and was surprised how nice they were.The place was clean and well kept. I will be going back and treating ourselves again.

While the cinema is comfortable I can't believe the price they charge for snacks and popcorn.I completely understand that it's a personal choice to buy snacks or not at the cinema but we paid nearly $80 for 4 popcorn and 4 drinks it was more than the movie tickets.I'll stick to streaming at home

Terrible customer service. Staff have no idea what they are doing. No one serving at the candy bar, and despite having prepaid my order with it apparently ready for collection had to wait 20 minutes just to get someone's attention to pass it to me. Ended with a line of 30 people behind me who had just purchased their tickets and candy just waiting for one of the lazy staff to wander over and make their orders. When one finally sauntered over there was no acknowledgement, no greeting they just started making up orders and sitting them on the counter leaving customers wondering which order was which. Gave up and got a refund.

I went today for the first time since changing from Grand. I won’t be back. It’s a complete shambles. The new system of ordering food and drinks beforehand and also able to purchase them when buying tickets, does not work! No one knows what to do to receive their order. You have to wait until your number is called. What is the point of ordering ahead when you still have to wait anyway. I went and got a seat in the movie today as it was busy and then placed my order online. I then waited over 20 minutes for my order. I missed the first half an hour of the movie. I had to go up to the counter and ask if it was normal to wait this long. She then got my order ready. I was not impressed at all. There was rubbish everywhere at the counter ie serviettes, paper straws etc. people were kicking it out of the way. I will not be returning. I will pay the extra and go to Event. I suggest management review their systems!

My teens went to see transformers tonight.Rude staff.Rude manager or maybe someone who thinks they are in authority.Rude teens in the movies.There was no staff in sight totell them to keep quite.Will not be returning.
