Great bus company,clean buses with amazing service by drivers.

I watched as my bus drove past past a few minutes early, I then called Cranbourne Transit to make a complaint and was told by an employee that his GPS said he was on time. This is despite the fact that I had seen the bus drive past two minutes early with my own eyes.It's worth noting that this is not the first or even second time this has happened this month.No apologies were made and no attempt was made to remedy the situation in any way.If I had any other options by which to travel, any at all, I would take them.Unfortunately these people rely on the fact that we need them and seem to treat that as an excuse for astoundingly poor service.

I don't know about the bus drivers but my dad lost his bag in a bus once and I rang Cranbourne Transit to report the missing item but they didn't have it yet so we gave up on it! The next day, someone from their office tracked down our address and handed the bag in person cos it was on his way home! What a legend!

I caught the Cranbourne to Frankston bus (#790),at Cranbourne Park Shopping Center at 1:44pm, the Bus number was #50.When we got to Karingal Hub Shopping Center a few Passengers got on board as well as a Old Lady, the old lady went to sit in one of the fold down seats where wheel chairs can go, the seats were currently in the upright position, so she had to push one of them down to sit.She placed her shopping bags on the ground and pushed the seat down and was just in the process of setting, when the bus drive took off, knocking the old lady to the ground, so i had to quickly yell out to the bus driver to stop the bus, then he left it to the passengers to try and pick up the old lady and when he could see that they were struggling it was only then did he come and help pick her up.Once she was seated the bus got underway again but the old lady's dress was messed up, so she stood up when the bus stopped at the next bus stop to pick up a passenger, and because of the design of the fold down seats while the old lady was standing to straiten out her dress.But while she was standing up the seat had folded back up without her realizing, she was just about so sit back down and fall down again, when luckily a lady near her realized what had happened with the seat folding back up and quickly called out and stopped the old lady sitting down with no seat under her!When it comes to Elderly Passengers traveling on your buses, the bus drivers should make sure that they are safely seated before pulling away, and not just rushing off like he did!

My son needs the bus to get to and from school. The hesitation in him getting transport when you think of the issues that currently surround Cranbourne currently makes me particularly nervous.So far 2 weeks into the school year, the bus service has been late 4 out of 9 times, and not just 5 minutes, it's usually 20 + mins. I'm not sure what the problem is but it's concerning and frustrating.Edited to add:Could not get onto Cranbourne Transit, so I needed to contact the school in the hope that they were able to contact the bus service re the constant lateness of the buses.AND, said son left sports bag on the bus. the groan I made when he informed me of this was rather loud. Currently been on hold for over 40 mins waiting to speak to someone re: lost property.This company and their services all round are a disgrace.

I drove for Cranbourne Transit for 7 years. It was a great company to work for. I am trying to get back there after a stint at Latrobe Valley Bus Lines. The only thing that I didn't enjoy was driving the old Mercedes buses. Although from recent observation I have noticed that there are a lot of new Scania chassis Volgren Optimus buses in the fleet so I am hoping the Mercs are no more.

Extremely unreliable. Constantly cancels buses but doesn't let passengers know. The worst. What's the point of using public transport when they cancel so often including the morning? I find it to be extremely unprofessional that they can't seem to manage to get a replacement bus. I would give it no stars if I could.

Hi this is a horrible bus company.I rely on Cranbourne Transit everyday and every morning to get me to and from school, and it's a rare occurrence that we have a nice bus driver or a bus driver with any competence.Yesterday afternoon however, was the last straw. For months, many students from my school, Elisabeth Murdoch, have been calling up the company asking for a second school bus because there's too many students to safely drive the bus. Yesterday though, there were too many students, and I, among many others, got kicked off, AFTER paying to get on there in the first place.This is unacceptable behaviour, the bus driver didn't call for another bus, he didn't even bother checking for who had tapped on and who hadn't, his first port of call was to kick whoever was closest to the front off.I am not paying the next time I need to catch the bus, as I've already paid from this bus that I was kicked off.I'm not going to stop complaining about this, until something is done about it because we all catch the SCHOOL BUS for a reason. Because it's our only way to get to and from school, and being kicked off is a great inconvenience to us and our parents who have to clock off work early to come and pick us up because the bus company isn't good enough at doing it's job.

I caught a 4.15pm bus to Dandenong from 100 Sth Gippsland Hwy, it didn’t arrive until 4.40pm 25 minutes late!It’s unacceptable.

Yeah i agree with other reviews, while some drivers are OK, most are quite rude and most importantly they seem to be incompetent or inexperienced, using brakes to slow down suddenly for no reason instead of gradually, taking off as if they are racing, etc. Apart from inconvenience to the passengers, this also causes damage to buses, maybe this will make the company management concerned. And last thing - buses very often running a few minutes earlier than scheduled, i missed so many buses because of that. Running late occasionally due to traffic is fine, but running early is totally insane.
