Strawhouse

We attended the Strawhouse Shin Dig on the weekend and was entertained by a terrific group called the Hip Replacements. We had a fantastic time, the scenery was lovely, the music was great, the wine was perfect and the food was yummy - we would thoroughly recommend attending the next one they hold or a stay or just a tasting. A lovely place to visit for any reason.

Great little cellar door, and a cute place to stay! We loved the hospitality of Meg and Justin, learning all about their wine while sitting back enjoying a fire. We snacked on delicious cheese and local produce and every morning Meg put together a great breakfast board. Highly recommended a visit and stay!

We tried their sparkling, white and red wines at Orange farmer's markets - all amazing and the best we tried in Orange. Their knowledge and passion for the wine was amazing, highly recommend and not to miss!

We stayed here for the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Justin & Meg are lovely people and great hosts, making us feel welcome and right at home. The accommodation was beautifully designed and the setting & views exceptional. Every morning breakfast was left including a freshly baked loaf of sourdough bread and other homemade condiments that were just delicious.I would also recommend tasting some of their fantastic wines and grabbing yourself a few bottles.We will definitely come back for another stay, sooner rather than later.

We’ve been to many wine regions in NSW and this was by the far the best winery we’ve been to. The wines themselves were amazing and the scenery from the cellar door is beautiful. The experience is so interesting as you’re hosted by the winemakers themselves. Thank you Justin & Meg. We’ll be ordering wine from you guys for the foreseeable!

Stylish small winery with a handful of great wines. This Winery is quite new but they have been growing grapes for a couple of decades for another winery. Definitely worth a visit.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Strawhouse a couple of weeks ago for his birthday. It was our first time in Orange and we couldn't have asked for a more picturesque location to spend a couple of nights.Justin and Meg were so warm and welcoming, they made us feel as though we were at home and the freshly baked bread each morning was a wonderfully delicious surprise!We thoroughly enjoyed the wine tasting with Justin during our stay too, what a treat to have the winemaker host the tasting.We have already recommended staying here to all of our friends and family, if you are looking for a peaceful, naturally beautiful spot to enjoy the fresh air (and wine of course!), Strawhouse if your place.Thanks for having us,Rebecca & Sebastien

We had a great time at Strawhouse Wines! Highly recommend! The wine tasting is done by the winemaker's themselves and we really enjoyed all the wines. The experience is great and the view is amazing. We also stayed at their accommodation and loved the apartment and view of the vines from the bed as well as a breakfast hamper with homemade bread every morning!Will definitely be back next time we are in Orange!Thanks again Justin & Meg.
