So much more than hair at this place. If you're lucky enough to get yourself an appointment, you're in for a good time. Gorgeous salon with high quality plant life, amazing products for purchase and a waiting room which is a luxury in itself.

it felt like I was getting my hair cut by friends i've known for years.very funny and entertaining conversations were had.they fed me cheese and bacon shapes, I got a fresh cut and a feed 10/10 amazing service.

Shantelle & Samie are amazing hairdressers, they've created a beautiful space & I absolutely love coming in for my appointments. I've had my hair cut & coloured here, each visit Shantelle brings a fun new idea for my fringe & she kills it every time. Their shoulder massages are the best in BNE as well! I can't recommend Hair Nerd highly enough.

Was so happy with the service, care, vibes, an attention to detail at hair nerd! Their team offer such exceptional service and attentive support. I wanted something quite specific and was nervous to go somewhere new after receiving a bad cut somewhere else. Shannon worked with my previous cut and fixed all the issues. A week later it is only looking better. Will be returning here as my regular hairdresser from now on! Thanks Hairnerd!

Found my new hair home today! Hair Nerd has got it all: cute space, tasty snacks, fun and easy vibe, and two killer hairdressers that are the best in the game. I loved what Samie did with my hair and both he and Shantelle took the time to educate me on easy at-home styling techniques so even someone as lazy as me could replicate their great work at home. Can't wait to go back!

Amazing people, salon and overall vibes.This was the first time in five years since I’ve had my hair cut and styled at a proper salon and from this point on, there’s no going back.I had my hair looked after by the super thorough and helpful Edie. He ran through with me what exactly I wanted to go for and offered super stylish suggestions that just made my day. On top of the amazing hair service, they also offered refreshments, styling tips and a luxurious head massage and shampoo.I have never been more happy with my hair and I will definitely be returning. Exactly what I was going for. No cons whatsoever.Loved it ❤️

I had my hair trimmed and styled by the amazing apprentice ED and loved the comfy salons vibes. Amazing training and hard work has payed off , they’re a fine young hairdresser :)

Such a beautiful salon, and way AWESOME peeps.Between the head and neck massage and a truly wonderful getting to know you experience, I love these guys. Not only do you get personal attention you also get a cut, colour that you love. My hair grows really slowly, which is a total bummer because I would love to experience their environment their creative gorgeous skills all over again sooner. Massive appreciation.

Absolutely amazing skills from Shannon. I've had 2 complicated colour jobs from here and both have been more than I expected. Shannon's understanding of colour allowed me to give her creative freedom and get a beautiful cut and colour I didn't expect and feel in love with. She really knows her clients and has a very good eye. I stayed with left over from the pink and she was still able to turn it green
