Shack Bay
Nice and quiet local beach. In low tide, the swimming area was greatly reduced. About 25 cars can park in carpark. Easy walk on steps down to beach. Very clean and not busy most of the time

Soft sandy beach flanked by rocky headlands and accessible rock pools.Access is via wooden staircase from the cliff top carpark.

Absolutely beautiful little spot for the family. The rock pools are fantastic to explore with plenty of sea life. We had the luck of seeing a couple of stingrays as the tide was moving out in the evening.

Shack Bay with the tide out is the best time to explore, lots of beautiful rock pools coast line to take it. Soak in the fresh salt water air and explore everything nature has to offer.

I like the fact that this place has rock pools and a good beach. It’s a nice walk down the stairs, even with toddlers it’s manageable.

The sand was pretty clean and you have easy access to the water.There is nice wide stairs from the carpark to the beach itselfNo toilet facilities or bins (so take your rubbish with you)

Shack Bay has it all!The rock formations and surrounding cliffs instantly attract the eye as you head down the wooden stairs. The view of Eagles Nest in particular is a feature.There are numerous rockpools amongst the tessellated rock formation near the shore to keep children and adults entertained for hours.Soak up the sun, enjoy a book or just watch people making the most of this tranquil location.You could easily spend half the day here.Definitely worth a visit when you are in the area.
