the service was perfect, the waitresses were so comforting and so nice with bringing each meal out. The meals we had were 10/10 nothing to complain about perfect portions and so good. Thankyou Jimmy Joan’s had a perfect birthday dinner with my partner!!

What a beautiful and comfortable setting.Great weather and we managed to get a table and benches under a tree on the beautiful lawn and garden. Ordered some local wine from the mobile truck behind us. Just love the vibe.The food service was slightly slow due to the crowd on that day but was super tasty and yummy and we gobbled down quickly when it arrived. Nice and relaxing place.

An absolute treat to have been able to dine at this establishment. The food was fantastic as was the service, ambiance and the live music topped off a fantastic day spent with close friends. Thank you to Thom, Eliza and team for giving us a great experience.

Great ambience, staff are delightful, live music is a nice touch. Food is a mixed bag: pie needed something on the side at $18 bucks and servo pies should pale into insignificance, scallops were great and good value and scotch egg - amazing.

The staff went beyond to make up for a small seating issue. We were given some complimentary olives and were later seated back by the warm fire by the time our food (which was super yummy) arrived! Atmosphere is also lovely here!

Honestly disappointing, I had high hopes for this restaurant. It’s so beautiful and the atmosphere so lovely, romantic, and beautiful unfortunately certain specifications aren’t stated on websites or in the restaurant.A thing to remember that this restaurant is a set menu. All meals are planed, cooked and desired.If you want to order food for dinner you HAVE to order a main, you can’t have a entree and that’s it, the waiters are very admit about ordering even when their menu does not cater to food allergies.If you want to have a chat with some drinks once again you are forced to order a Main. You simply can’t not sit for longer than hour unless you have food .The waiter we had did not understand that certain meals were limited due to people not able to eat ingredients, as well as not taking out certain ingredients for whatever reasons.Prices are reasonable considering it’s Lovedale and a high end restaurant.Waiters were passive aggressive but overall nice.Bar staff supply good drinks and service.I hope this restaurant in the future considers those who suffer from food allergies/ dislike food when they are taking orders from table.It’s seems that’s it’s only acceptable when your a child. Who in fact got a bowl of chips but as adult we were denied?I’m torn.

Found this place by chance. Jimmy Joans is a wonderful place for coffee and cake in the sun; or a drink and lunch with friends, family, or your special someone.

Food taste nice but overpriced, sashimi tuna is really small, I was a bit disappointed because I waited for over 40 minutes and I was starving, prawn roll is okay, nothing to complain, cream brûlée is very sweet.The most annoying part is the flies everywhere, hovering around you and your food.
