Very rude over the phone. Was almost disgusted that I would dare ask for something (wood). Their google rating and reviews seems to run in line with my experience. Wouldn’t use if they were the cheapest in Aus, customer service means a lot too

We are a Veteran Charity that help mainly of our younger veterans from Somalia to Afghanistan. We embarked on a project to build an arena out of treated timber but more importantly use this as a Work Bee". (A project to get these guys and girls doing a task by getting them out of the house and together with fellow veterans). Wade timber does not sell to the public but once I approached them they jumped onto the opportunity and bent over backwards to fill our order and get it delivered. Again showing that Australian businesses care for our veteran community. Thank you to Tim and his team."

The person on the desk did not want to help at all, would not listen to what we wanted, very bad for buisness, would never go there again to wade at maryborough

Extremely rude to deal with. Was a huge effort for ‘tim’ at the front desk to even lift his head and listen to what timber I was after.

Drove from Burrum Heads to purchase 45 L/m of treated fencing and was informed by the clerk at the desk that Wade's do not sell to the public,not impressed, I will recheck their website to see if they state that public sales are not permitted.

I work here . They look after me . I can supply for my family .
