i bought a brush pen and uniball fineliners here. quality is good, and great price.came to the shop, and meet the staff lady in store. ask for brush pen, she confuse for my bad english (lol) show her a photo and she teach me to say brrr brush , instead i say before sounds brass pen. funny and good experience.friendly staff, and good item in store.5/5star

Great range of art supplies at reasonable prices. Staff are knowledgeable and have been able to answer any query I have had. If stock hasn’t been available, Oxlades are more than happy to order it in, or recommend alternatives. Oxlades is a great little art supply store for North Queensland.

Good selection of supplies and options. Staff member I interacted with was quite rude and short with me. I asked about clay and was met with arrogance. I didn't appreciate that.

Love this store but just wish that you didn't have to buy $25 each time to earn a stamp on your rewards card. The range of pens and gouache is amazing.

Asked them to order me something and gave all my details and was told I would be contacted. Was assured they would. Went back 2 weeks later to check and thought I should maybe provide more details, even gave them the supplier and item number. Been 2 months now. Still not heard from anyone. Also asked for bleedproof paper/cardboard. Got home and after paying $16.00 for one sheet, it was not bleedproof. Sadly, cheaper and better service online. Try Artshed online.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I bought 4 acrylic paints all the same size but different colours, noticed the yellow was very lightweight compared to the others...then noticed only 2 of the four paints were sealed. so after weighing them realised the yellow was 60g lighter (for a 250g paint that is alot) and the $16-35 price tag also made me come back to return them. The lady serving said they dont get tampered with ...but they are under weight and seals broken. she was quite rude and said it looks like they have been opened a few times...i only bought them yesterday and as if i would waste my time coming back for an exchange if there wasnt a problemterrible customer service the old lady working there needs to learn how to treat customerswarning to all check your paint before you leave the store or you might be paying for the paint used in the studio upstairs unknowinglyi will not be going back here ever
