Extremely helpful people available that are community and minded instead of $ driven which is what makes the bike kitchen the place for professional advice and service that is worth everyone out there that needs to know anything about any push bike the place you need to call or better yet ask in person !! I insist you try these guys before you waist time and money anywhere else !!

What a thoughtful and carefully constructed environment. I felt welcome right away, the volunteers were helpful and kind, and the workshop had all the tools i needed. A great place to work on the bike, hands on. Amazing support from the volunteers and readily available used spare parts. Definitely recommend all riders to check out this place if you haven't already.

First time here. Great atmosphere and lovely, helpful bike mechanics! They helped me out with servicing my gears and brakes. Definitely will return for the next tune up.

Absolutely fantastic place. Kind and guiding help with no judgement towards people who have no idea what they are doing. Parts are available at very reasonable prices. I'm so happy something like this exists in Adelaide!

Friendly staff with heaps of knowledge and skills to teach, affordable parts, bikes and equipment. Located in a chilled area with nice lawn and bench out the front yard.

Did the Intro to Bike Mechanics course here under the guidance of the incredibly knowledgeable Peter. Cannot recommend this enough - I walked away knowing so much more about looking after my bike and how to get various basic tasks done simply and easily. Peter was great at offering both advice and rationales for how to do things and with which tools. Booked straight in for the follow on Intermediate course - thanks so much ABK for this brilliant means of being more independent with my bike care! (and knowing I can bounce back for the open sessions to get more help!)

Awesome, innovative community of volunteer bike enthusiasts. Great place to hang out on a Wednesday evening, get $5 vegan dinner or fix up/make a bike from the library of parts they have. Everyone is really helpful and friendly. Prices are very fair, and staff are down to negotiate payment via trading or small labour jobs/volunteering.
