Absolutely awesome place to take the dogs. Since they've gone and fenced the whole park in it has really become somewhere you can be confident to let your dog run. Areas with shade, a sandpit and separated small/large dog areas so the little ones aren't overwhelmed or intimidated. the vast majority of owners are attentive to their dogs and their behaviour.

The park includes dog-friendly water fountains, a sandpit, and shaded picnic tables. Easy parking is nearby. Edit: The park remains submerged by flood water (January 16 2023).

Best dog park we have encountered anywhere. Set aside specially for dogs. Plenty of space, in two separated areas for large or small dogs. Complete with sand digging box. Could probably do with a couple more park benches for adults who can't stand or walk far.

Huge park and fairly quiet when we were there. Choice of 2 fully fenced areas. Signs up to watch out for snakes.So we did. Short grass and a cold day kept them at bay.

I took my 2 small dogs today what a fantastic place for them to run around with other dogs get exercise my dogs have come home jump on the couch and noew sleeping I would recommend this place to anyone with doggies I will be back again

Mildura Fenced Dog Park (Rio Vista Park)
The park was quite reasonable with lots of open space and well kept. Only drawback, particularly during the summer months, was the limited amount of shade. A few picnic tables, toilets and a water fountain within. Parking is very close by and spacious for this park, shared with the Lock and Weir No.11.

Lack of obstacles for dogs to interact with have been to other parks in South Australia and NSW and they had running boards and tunnels

Great large park for each large and small dogs. Water available for the dogs, and a fountain for us. Only issue would be nice for some dog owners to clean up after them, rather then sitting around and having a coffee with others, and ignoring what their dog is doing.
