Cream is the best chuck out the rest! I get my hair cut by Lee but judging by how brilliant he is everyone else must be pretty great too. If I got a dollar each time someone complimented my hair I’d be as rich as Beyoncé. Also important: we always have a great chin wag but he can sense when you need space to just breath. Can read the room and cut the hair very very well. Also cherry on top is that they have aperol spritz

The Cream team are the Dream team! People regularly comment that they love my cut. I have resistant greys and am growing out henna. At Cream we always come up with a sensational solution that’s also a practical and enduring cut and colour. Thanks Sonja, Molly and crew!

After coming to the salon for a few years, I had Molly for the first time this week and she was fantastic, not only a great stylist, but very personable and accommodating. Most importantly, I love the look of the balayage and cut she gave me!

Loved my experience with the VERY Experienced Art Director Richard. He knew exactly what he was doing. A great hair cut. The finish with the styling/tongs was done by (what felt like) a very junior assistant and it wasn’t a sophisticated finish to the sophisticated cut. A bit slow and too chatty without adhering to my time request. I would have preferred Richard to do the styling as I paid the top price for the Art Director service. I would definitely go back though.

I went from blonde to copper. Wow the whole experience and the scary transformation was so lovely calm and fun! I had such a fantastic hair dresser Sonya. I will always go to her from now on. I never usually rebook but my next two appointments are booked and I’m excited. I am in love with my hair also constant compliments are so nice!The colour is exactly what I wanted!Thank you again!

They changed my toner appointment twice, which was understandable as the hair stylist was isolating due to covid. I worked late night irregular shifts at the time—pandemic circumstances—and despite finishing late, with 2 hours of sleep I came to what I genuinely thought was a 10:40am appointment (I live 40mins away, but heard good reviews about them and didn’t mind the drive). I walked in and the owner (Richard) stared me down and said my appointment was at 9am. That I wasted Yoshi’s time (whom my appointment was changed to, not the person I initially booked) and had [them] wait around for me. I was genuinely so shocked, struggling to understand his lack of professionalism at how he spoke at me. I apologised, explained my misunderstanding and asked if there was a deposit I had to pay for the appointment (I do know etiquette) but since there wasn’t I guess in retrospect that’s partly why he was so angry. Still confused as he was treating me coldly and just staring at me, I asked if I could rebook the appointment and he flatly said “No” and that I can leave. This happened under a minute and I walked out hurt and then angry, which lead to me leave a review without commenting. But I recently stumbled across this while surfing Melbourne hair salons, and remembered this experience. Wanted to share, especially seeing the snarky comment by the owner. “Accomodate to my 2 hour lateness”? I should have written this review before. Hope you exercise a kinder, less condescending attitude towards your younger clients.

This place is THE BEEZ KNEEZ!Shall I go on?The Salon is conveniently located in Fitzroy, right at a tram stop. It is bright and welcoming and generally has a great energy. Upon entry I was greeted by everyone! There was not 1 snobby bougee hairdresser in the joint - so it was a tick from me!I was offered a variety of drinks throughout the service, which was really nice. They made me feel important, kind of like if you were to visit your best friends salon. Everyone was chirpy and happy.I gave Zoe (who is AMAZING!), the brief of what I wanted, she ensured she understood and got to work. She gave me some recommendations/options and a quote before starting (which was great!). 4 hours in the chair and I was still comfortable at the end - could almost have fallen asleep. The outcome of my service well exceeded expectations (Zoe hit it outta the park!) and I can’t wait to go back!If you want high end, without the price tag - make this your go to Salon!

I don't think I've actually walked out of a salon fully happy and satisfied before. I finally got something I actually asked for! Richard is so talented. But the most important thing is that he actually listens to what you want! I'm so happy I've finally found my hairdresser" lol. You can't go wrong with Richard if you're after a new hairstyle or a cut."

Love this place they care of their clients and go above and beyond. Zoe was so so lovely and did an amazing job with my colour and cut. Zoe and Leada’s consultation for my colour was very thorough and great as they made sure we had the same end look in mind. Zoe completely transformed my hair and already booked in my next appointment. Amazing job guys
