Best value for money burger during the promotion hours, 2 - 4 pmBasically half price burger with any purchase of drinks..Beef burger: buns were toasted, patty perfectly cooked, some balance of lettuce and tomatoes.Chips: One of the best chips in Brisbane. It was slightly thick, had a nice crisp texture, and quite filling. The aioli sauce was also goodPrice $15 for allTips: you need an ID to get into red room.Would come back defo for the tasty chips.

Very rude staff. I was told by staff (6 weeks ago) that I can smoke outside. I smoked outside tonight. The manager came out and gave me a warning of no smoking which I immediately put it out and apologised, then went inside, there was also no ‘no smoking’ signs. The manager clearly stated that it ‘is no secret’ this is a no smoking bar despite the lack of signage, which was very confusing. My friend and we’re kicked out immediately after entering the venue again, my friend was not even smoking. I didn’t realise a warning meant immediate forced removal of the venue by security. The manager was completely unprofessional and quite rude. I was more than happy to comply after a warning because I didn’t understand the rules (due to the staff’s miscommunication) but I am very offended about the immediate removal and complete lack of communication and compassion form the staff.

Surprisingly good for a bar on campus! Love the grassy outdoor area and how its pretty quiet during the week. Drink selection is good and reasonably priced. Keen to try some of the meal deals next time!

The redroom is an awesome place to visit for a uni break and chill with friends after a long day. The drinks are refreshing, and to accompany it, the food is quick and flavoursome. There are also pool tables, however, at peak hours they can be hard to get to. The seats and floor also tend to be a bit sticky.

I went to the Red Room to meet up with my friends from the precinct. Haven't seen them since early last year. The staff were quick and efficient. The beer was cold and the food was great. We will be meeting there again later in the year.

was kicked out of the venue for smoking after the manager came out to give us a warning (i wasn’t smoking). and when i sat back down security came up and kicked us out for smoking “numerous times”. there was a “no smoking beyond this point” sign on the window and i assumed that meant for inside. just kept saying “it’s not a secret” that the venue was non smoking when i do not attend the uni and it was my first time at this venue. they even closed down the back area but kept the doors partially open to the balcony. i feel like kicking us out immediately was a little unfair. i think a warning would have been enough.
