Horrendous builder. Avoid at all costs. Uses incompetent workers plus poor quality materials. Everything falls apart quickly. Driveway, pavement, kitchen tap, shower screen, paintwork, electrical works, water pipes, roofing, drainage, ceiling plasterboards etc all gave problems. Did not respond to any defects rectification works for a very long time until he had to do so. We had to repair many defects on our own due to the urgency of the situation at hand. It has been nearly 3 years since we moved in and my balcony is still leaking water into my bedroom and hallway. Finally came to rectify balcony after 1.5 years and even after the second time he could not do it right. Coordinates different trades to build but doesn't seem to have actual knowledge of building especially waterproofing. Uses silicone (which is cheap) excessively to superficially glue everything together all the time and it is the only thing he will use to solve leaking issues which has been proven time and time again to fail. The thing is this - he isn't dead or bankrupt so I can't access the 6 year structural warranty under the VMIA domestic builders insurance. Instead I have to go through a lengthy DBDRV and VCAT route (made worse by Covid) to get some form of resolution. Worst nightmare ever and I've had significant mental and emotional stress and have suffered physically as well due to countless sleepless nights. This builder is incompetent, arrogant and irresponsible. Why he is allowed to build people's homes?

VK homes are a delight. We recently celebrated our one year anniversary in our new home and we could not be happier. Very unprofessional, rude, and everything bad. I built with them and they tried every dodge way to get away. Could not trust their single word. That’s true they are cheap ! But they are cheap in all the aspects!! Avoid them at any cost.

Hi, I have had a very positive experience with this company they completed a townhouse for me, the builder Davinder and I had to work back and fourth to meet the design i had planned. From the concrete slab being poured to the keys being handed over the process was quick and smooth in saying that quality was used in every aspect from the materials to the great people and tradesmen at Vk homes thank you again guys highly recommend.
