Game changer!!! I am on a slow,continuing journey with weight loss. I cannot recommend Dr Bacus highly enough. She uses a collaborative approach. She asks really important questions and actually listens to your responses. She takes on board your opinions and together you work on your personalised plan. She addresses your feelings of guilt and fear about how you got to Alevia in the first place. You feel reassured after every consultation. Thanks so much Dr Bacus.

I'm currently in the midst of my weight loss journey with this clinic and I wish I had known about them earlier. The approach is well structured and I am 100% supported by my doctor. My IBS symptoms ceased nearly as soon as I began this new approach to food and I feel amazing. The telehealth appointments suit my lifestyle as I don't need to set aside extra time for travelling to appointments and I can slot the appointments easier into my work schedule. I have battled with weight for years. With small successes in the battle occasionally, but I was losing the war.A referral to Alevia was one of the best things that ever happened! I was so nervous and anxious with my first appointment, but I was met with compassion and understanding. I have been a patient with Alevia for 12 months now and successfully met my goal of losing 10 kgs within the first 4 months. Cannot speak more highly of the team at Alevia. The booking app is so easy and love the diet recipes and exercise tips. Nothing is to much trouble for the reception staff,and the doctors are amazing. They are there for you for your whole journey , and make sure you feel supported and cared for the whole time. Would highly recommend this team if you are serious about your weight loss.

In 2019, I was feeling unwell physically and mentally, I was severely depressed and very overweight, I walked into Alevia weighing 134 kg. The day I walked through Alevia’s doors was the day my life changed and I have not looked back. I lost 58 kgs, with the constant support of my doctor and lots of hard work and all the tools she taught me to use, I became a better me. I feel so great and am happy and active. I still see my doctor once a month to keep an eye on how I am going. You deserve to be happy and to be a better YOU, so go and out there and do it, you will be so glad you did. Alevia was there for me every step of the way!

I joined Alevia Medical Weight loss in October and I have nearly 30 kgs which I am so excited about too. At Alevia the doctors are very caring and compassionate and really about their patients as well. I have found so beneficial to me for my health and well being too. Absolutely dedicated doctors and Staff and it is wonderful to part of it :) :)

Yesterday, 4 January 2022, I got an automated newsletter from Alevia. I hadn't heard from them since 19 October 2020 when I attended their premises for a weigh-in so that government requirements could be met regarding fees. When I never heard from them again I wondered if the face-to-face had been something dodgy ... perhaps making sure they had names on their books ... as prior to that I'd had three telehealth consultations and was expecting to continue with them. Today, when I let them know I'd never heard from them until now and asked they remove me from the mailing list, their response was 'No problems Imelda ... Stay well.' No, follow up as to why I never heard from them in all that time, no apology, no care, nothing. I rarely put reviews up, but I felt this was pretty poor service.
