I came to have a look around to transfer my son here. After hearing it was a good place to go from friends. After looking in the baby roomThe outside play area was far from what he has now. Trees with ribbon out of it and rocks underneath doesn’t seem much fun.And sandpit in the back area is about it. Or all I could see. There was a few kids crying and not much comforting going on that I could see one educator was more interested in the iPad i think that’s what she was holding. After looking and getting information and hearing how they have many field trips outside the centre and were soon to be getting a bus to take kids out is when it was a clear no from me.In my opinion I’d be much happier to know my child is safe and where I had left him.And hearing that they have more educators on that day to take them out left me wondering who looks after my son if I was the only parent and said no to the trip. This was two weeks before the bus incident that took that child’s life. When I got home I explained to friends that the reason I said no was because of the out of school trips.I was told by a friend that it’s to get them more ready for school not sure how that is considering my child’s only 1 I’d prefer him to just be a child and play and forget that mums gone for the day.Granted I was only there for ten minutes and didn’t get to see what set up they have for them to do outside so this is just from what I seen and what my thoughts were on this company. My son still goes to edgeworth which has play equipment everywhere and he really loves it there and I see many photos of him being comforted on his days he’s very upset.

Our experiences with the centre have been very positive , the kids love going and have learnt a lot in their time there .All the staff are really good and the kids have always been well cared for , we have always been kept well informed if there has been any problems or bumps and bruises , its good to know that they are in safe hands . The centre is also updating equipment and the kids all look forward to using all the different types of things .Sarah and all her staff truly are educators and are a big plus to all of the children at the centre and our kids have had a great start to their future thanks to them .

We’ve joined Goodstart at Kurri Kurri recently and I cannot recommend Goodstart enough! I get a great vibe from the centre, the staff are great and most importantly my child is happy when going there. It’s fantastic peace of mind knowing that my child’s in good hands.

Leaving your little one all day in the care of someone else is never an easy decision to make, luckily I enrolled my daughter in Mission Aus Daycare Kurri Kurri. You can see my daughters face light up to see the educators and you know they have taken the time to get to know her and her needs. Which is always reassuring, I highly recommend them. I had tried other daycares in the area and nothing compares to the standard of care they provide.

I have two children who attend this service, one leaving for kindy at the end of the year, both have been there since about 6 months old. The educators are highly experienced, knowledgeable and respectful of all children and their families. I feel comfortable in leaving my girls, knowing they are getting the best possible care and are having lots of fun!

Would not recommend, center has drastically gone down hill. Try to sort issues with staff and center but nothing changes time and time after raising concerns.

My daughter attended this centre for 3 1/2 years and unfortunately the last 12 moths prior to us moving to another centre has been a horrendous experience. High staff turnover have had a large impact on our children there. The area manager is very unhelpful especially when there has been so many Centre Directors or lack therof in the last 12 mths. The lack of communication is huge when there are direct impacts that parents need to be aware of.I had such concerns that I made formal complaint to the Dept of Education as I felt as though Goodstart did not want to listen to my concerns.
