Qscan Radiology Clinics

Had a not so very nice experience with the sonographer I had yesterday for my dating scan. When she took me into the room she stated that we were partway through the session, I asked her if my app was at 1.30? To which she replied yes. I then told her it was 1.33 and I was 15min early. She didn’t respond.I have had many miscarriages and 2 second trimester losses so I started to cry on the bed. I told her of my experience, to which she didn’t respond. Her energy was abrasive and standoffish. She told me the baby was measuring less than what I thought it was but it had a heart beat. She was very quick with the scan and her attitude wasn’t the nicest. I feel that if you’re doing scans on women that are pregnant you need to have a certain level of bedside manner that is more nurturing and compassionate. I will not be back to Qscan Annerley.

Their diagnosis (dated on 29th of May , 2023) was completely wrong!! I almost ended up having cortisone injection on my left bursa because of their unprofessional reading/finding on ultrasound! I was lucky that I went to a different clinic (in Toowong) to get it done and got these experienced Dr. and radiologists find there was NO INFLAMMATION on the location at all! They said they couldn't proceed with the injection because my left shoulder is perfectly fine, today ( of course, I didn't get charged from the Toowong clinic at all). What a waste of money and time with Qscan Annerley!!!Never ever recommended here!

Husband went 2 weeks ago and again today. Awesome experience from the front reception staff to all the staff who did his procedure. Bent over backwards to make this a very pleasant experience.

6 minutes late to our appointment due to a road closure/ detour in Fairfield, which was out of our control. Receptionist was extremely frosty upon arrival, where she made it her mission to make you know that you were a large inconvenience to the clinic. Woman who delivered our 12 week baby scan also lacked warm people skills. Prickley. This was suppose to be an exciting event which instead turned into a unpleasant experience.

Absolutely terrible ultrasound experience this morning. I’m not sure the sonographer had ever met a child in her life, which is fine, but perhaps the next time it says the word ‘paediatric’ on the referral, enlisting someone who actually has a little experience with children might be a help.A few minutes spent before the exam, being kind to him, explaining what she was going to do, letting him touch a couple of things might have saved a world of pain.Instead, literally minutes into the the appointment when he started crying, screaming and squirming (he was terrified), she proceeded to tell us that we were running out of time, making me feel like an extremely uncomfortable burden, I tried to explained that he is only two, but by this stage the situation was well and truly out of hand. In an attempt to expedite the proceedings, she asked where exactly in his stomach he complained of pain, to which I reiterated that HE IS ONLY TWO, even if he had told me that, which of course he hadn’t, it would not be accurate, again – he is two.When I asked if we were nearly done, she explained that she had only managed to take two pictures out of a usual twenty for which we still had to pay $190. Kind reception staff is possibly the only thing they have going in their favour, definitely won’t be going back.

Try not to go for an appointment when it is getting close to knock off, UT operator very obviously in a rush to go home. Please teach your staff a duty of care approach as I felt I wasted my time this afternoon. The two stars are for the receptionists who were friendly.

I just wanted to say how impressed I am with Qscan Annerley. Everyone who works there is kind and friendly. I am so grateful for their compassion especially today when I became emotional after a painful injection. They showed such care and ensured I was ok. Special mention to Dr Singh, who is patient, reassuring and took the time to make me feel better.Thanks so much to the whole team for your hard work and care!

Had my CT Scan here and the reception staff are professional and friendly. They accommodated me and provided me with the information I required.The radiologist that performed my scan was the same and was very caring. After the scan, she informed me the next steps and was pretty happy.The room was pretty cold but it was my liking. Maybe not for older people though.This place is mixed billing so better give them a call to make sure the service you are going to get is bulk billed or not. Medicare is pretty funny and sometimes you have to split your scans to get things bulk billed.
