Parmigiana was amazing, will definitely go back. Black pepper gravy to go with the perfectly cooked chips.Chef delivered it to us and she was shining warmth and friendly to talk to.

For a pub fairly far off the beaten track it does well to keep up the quality. Normally you get recommended to go to a place like this and it's overpriced and poor quality. This place meets the price point perfectly, great selection of wine and friendly staff to boot. I'd sooner eat here than anywhere in Mansfield proper. Plus you're supporting the local economy!

Located at a good spot about 1h drive from Mt Buller, so it is a good option for food coming down after skiing. Food is okay, sort of country pub type of. We ordered Garlic and Hawaiian pizzas, soup and Fish, didn't expect too much.The space is comfy. Staff is nice.

This pub was not an enjoyable experience for us - food was not worth $30 per person and the man serving us was sooo rude for no reason. They were understaffed which made everything chaotic! We felt like they didn’t want customers at their own pub, so disappointing. The meals took 1 hour to come out, and we’re not worth the price. Will not be going back here or recommending to anyone.

Been here a couple times. Depending on what you order it could be five star or three - so averaging to a 4. The ribs were fantastic and generous sizing. Highly recommended. Roast of the day (lamb) was juicy and excellent.The Kiev and schnitzel were so-so and a bit of a let down.

Reasonable venue but a bit mean on their Public Holiday surcharges, charged 15% on merchandise. Wineries in the region didn’t charge the surcharge on wine just on meals which require staff effort.

Friendly staff but need to work on their menu.The food needs some improvement as the fried items were double fried and dry.Considering the Covid situation , they are doing good by providing the service on time and following Covid protocols.

Went for dinner, I had the Chicken Schnitzel with chips, salad and gravy. My partner had flathead tails with chips. We've been here before and the food is consistent. Good portions and well cooked. If you're in the area give this place a try!

A strange experience! There was very little open for dinner in Merrijig over Cup weekend so we ended up at the Hunt club. The place was full so that might have explained the bar lady’s aggressive inability to take our orders for half an hour. We sat quietly and had a drink in the main bar which was nice - mix of locals and travellers. It was pretty wet so all inside but I reckon this would be a good place for an outdoor beer in warmer weather. Mixed review on the meals; pizza was good, burger overdone and average.
